We love this place! This was our third time staying here, and it continues to be one of our favorite getaways. The cabin is always very clean inside, and we love how secluded it feels. Nestled in the woods right next to DeSoto State Park and only about a 20-minute drive to Fort Payne, it’s a great spot for a small family but is especially well-suited for a romantic getaway. We only have a couple of minor suggestions, and neither would keep us from coming back. First, there’s a fairly large pothole/rut at the entrance to the driveway that makes turning in a little rough. Second, while the interior is spotless, it would be nice if the front and back porches were pressure washed or the decking scrubbed occasionally. The cabin is so well maintained otherwise that cleaner outdoor spaces would make it feel even more polished. My wife and I especially enjoy the hot tub, and she loves having the jacuzzi tub inside as well. The tubs are definitely more for the ladies, but if there were a TV mounted outside by the hot tub, this place would be just about perfect!Overall, another wonderful stay. We look forward to coming back again.
