New to Ocean Odyssey! Come experience this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home. Nestled on a hill in Yachats, the home provides stunning ocean views. The open floor plan and ocean facing windows will make this bright and airy home your new home away from home. Each bedroom has a queen bed, one bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower / tub combo. The other bathroom has a shower / tub combo as well. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need! There is no cable TV, but there is a smart TV that will allow you access to stream any platforms you may have.

Parking: 2 vehicles maximum
No motorhomes. No boats. No trailers. Strictly enforced.

Watch the waves break from the front porch

The set up was functional for us with bedrooms and baths on opposite sides of the house. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. The property was clean and comfortable. There was a slight hiccup with the code for entry but the host called within minutes and got us right in. Overall we had a nice stay and would come again.

Wonderful View- Lacking Basic Amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, we were in awe of the view. Unfortunately, not so much the house. There were several areas that obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The flat grill under the oven drawer had 1/2 inch of grease in it. The air vents were caked with inches of dirt and grime. The pillows were paper thin. The kitchen was lacking so many things. We had to purchase a baking sheet, loaf pan, and several other items, including a knife that was sharp enough to cut something. The lighting is so minimal. No reading lights in the living room, no light or lamp in the small office space, etc. Overall, the amenities were dismal. Peter was responsive when we needed him. The home is now listed for sale. Would not recommend this home to vacationers!

Fairly Basic. Really Fabulous.

Our stay at Windsong Vista was a spur of the moment escape the heat. We were thrilled to find a place in Yachats on short notice. The home amenities and size are fairly basic but it served our 4-night partial vacation/partial telework trip perfectly. The home is by no means run down or spartan, but it is not a high-end luxury home. The home was fully furnished with everything we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable. There is a great workstation space that overlooks the ocean and we brought a small table and set up a second one in the master BR. Internet was a bit slow but sufficient for us to work -- you might need to go without video on your calls. It is about a 3/4 mile walk into town through the neighborhood and about the same straight down the hill to the coast. One tip to future visitors: the listing photos do not show any deck furniture but there are some folding chairs and tables in the closet in the master BR. They'll blow around if you leave them outside so bring 'em in when you're done. It can get a little warm out there on a calm, sunny day but the view is fantastic!

Not what I thought when I got there.

Pretty plan inside, cold feeling, not talking about temperature. There was no books,games or directions regarding the tv. Lights in one bedroom are non functional lamp shade not attached and switch doesn’t work. There are no lamps in the front room so you have the bright ceiling light that luminates the area. No cutting board, garbage can is in the laundry room that is right off the kitchen? They had two chairs that were in the bedroom closet for use on the deck I assume, other than that there’s no chairs or tables for you to enjoy the view. We took the sheets and pillow cases off the bed to wash and I couldn’t believe the dark stains all over the pillows just repulsive. (I took a picture) I’ve never have complained before about a house, I was very disappointed on what we got for the money that was paid!

Quiet, Comfortable, and a View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Windsong Vista is on a hillside a few minutes north of the village of Yachats. I spent two weeks in February. Easy access to everything in town, 10 minutes from Waldport and short drives to and all the great local beaches. Really wonderful to wake up to the view out over the ocean, watch a winter storm roll in, or watch the sun go down when the weather is clear.The house is clean, comfortable, and has all the basic amenities.The folks at Ocean Odyssey are very responsive and helpful with any questions that might arise.
