Bay Lake Family Chalet

Have fun with the whole family at our stylish A frame chalet. Located in beautiful Bancroft, this is the ideal destination for the nature lover. Explore the nearby trails, swimming, beaches, hiking. Why not take a day trip to the famous Algonquin Park, a short drive away, come back for a family patio BBQ and gather by the fire pit to end the day with some indulging marshmallows! Our chalet features one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, and a fun kids loft with a bunk bed and queen sofa bed.
The space
Cute A frame style chalet, with a cozy fireplace, modern setting with rustic accents, features a spacious family living room area, with TV featuring Netflix for the rainy days, and many boardgames, a full kitchen, and a master bedroom with queen bed. We also have a folding travel bed in the closed if needed. Upstairs kids loft is equipped with bunk bed, and a sofa queen bed, games for kids and TV with Xbox. Portable A/C unit provides ample cold air to cool down the entire house, while the fireplace is enough for any cold night or winter days. Outside, we have the patio deck equipped with a cozy table and BBQ as well as our fireplace for those late night marshmallows and gorgeous stars in the sky!

Other things to note
We provide some wood for the firepit, but for frequent use of the fire pit, you may need to either bring wood or buy wood in town. The best place is the Bancroft Dollar Plus in town. There is a metal bucket as well by the firepit. Please make sure the fire is completely out once you finish using the fire pit. The easiest way to put out the fire is with water from our little water creek. Fire starter, lighters are available in the kitchen cabinet next to the emergency exit door. Please enjoy safely according to the fire laws in effect!
