The Space:

This spacious and well-appointed cabin is the perfect rental for a family vacation or retreat with a group of friends. Located 1/4 mile from pristine Lake Tahoe near Carnelian Bay, the Macdonald Cabin is ideally situated to take advantage of all that the Tahoe Basin has to offer! This Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom home features high ceilings in the living room, a unique wood-burning stove, fully stocked kitchen and many good memories.



Agate Bay is a quiet, friendly neighborhood great for walking, hiking and biking. The neighborhood is backed up to National Forest Land, where you will find trails that lead to the Tahoe Rim Trail and beyond! The property is a half mile to Patton Beach in Carnelian Bay, one of the few dog-friendly beaches in the area. One can hike or mountain bike uphill through the forest to Brockway Summit for panoramic lake views. The Macdonald Cabin offers a little taste of everything for everyone!



All ABP vacation rentals come equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, linens, towels, kitchen supplies (toaster, coffee pot, dishes, pots/pans, utensils), washer/dryer and gas BBQ (summer only). If you have special requests, please let us know.



Important:

On March 11th 2022, Placer County implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500 - $5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. 



Some Highlights Include:

   •Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound.

   •Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.

   •Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 3



Due to extreme fire danger - the use of any outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. All charcoal or wood burning bbq's are strictly prohibited. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
