Aloha! E komo mai. Nou ka hale. Velkommen til vores Big Island hjem eller hale (udtales HA-LAY). Beliggende i Volcano Village og kun få minutter fra Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, inviterer vi dig til at gøre vores fuldt tilladte hus til dit hjem væk fra dit hjem under dit næste besøg.

Hale Hubner Treehouse Cottage er perfekt til venner, par og små grupper eller familier, der ønsker at opleve Volcano-livsstilen på sit bedste. Vi tilbyder også en vidunderlig tilbagetog for Kama'aina, der ønsker at komme væk. Komfortabelt beliggende i den frodige hapu'u bregne og ohia regnskov, finder du vores beliggenhed tilbyder afslappende komfort og privatliv, mens du holder dig tæt på de mange attraktioner i nærheden, som Big Island har at byde på.

Vores hus er en hyggelig 750 m² stor studio-stil specialbygget 1 seng / 1 bad, der sover 2-4 personer komfortabelt. Det varme fyrretræinteriør sammenstiller naturligvis den grønne udsigt over frodig vegetation, der er synlig fra alle de store billedvinduer i hele huset. En rummelig solterrasse hilser dig, når du forlader huset og giver en fremragende udsigt over de livlige stjerner under de mørke aftener.

En master-seng-område er indhegnet for dit privatliv, og en queensize-futon i det vigtigste opholdsrum foldes ud for at give en anden seng til yderligere rejsende. Det vigtigste opholds- / soveområde er placeret på husets andet niveau og er kun tilgængeligt via trapper; derfor er vi desværre ikke tilgængelige for besøgende med handicap, der forhindrer klatring af trin. For familier, der ønsker at bo hos os, foretrækker vi, at der er mindst en voksen pr. Barn, hvis det er muligt.

Vi stræber efter at give et varmt og indbydende stressfrit men alligevel overkommeligt alternativ til de store resorts. Great Place Near Kilauea

Good location close to N.P

Biggest advantage of the house is the short distance to the N.P. The house itself could be a little bit more cleaned. Also the bed is not very comfortable. But all in all we had a good time.

Treehouse near Volcano

The treehouse is a wonderful tropical retreat minutes from Volcanoes National Park. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where wild pheasants roam and the stars are lovely at night. The house itself is very comfortable, and it is easy to feel at home.

Great place to stay when visiting Volcano National Park

Location, location, location is what gives it 5 stars in our mind. Pretty cool cabin, being raised as it is makes it seem you are staying in a jungle. Plenty of extra blankets and the wood stove works great. All of the basic necessities, clean and comfortable. Being so close to the park it allowed us to hike around during the day, go back to the cabin for dinner and a break and go back to the park later in the evening after dark to view the volcano off of devastation trail.

The listing is totally accurate, it's not fancy but it's clean, comfortable, well stocked, and a super fun experience. I have to note, that binder was the most comprehensive one I've ever seen. I was incredibly impressed.

An experience worth repeating!

Staying in the treehouse was very memorable! Waking up to the lush fauna surrounding us and having breakfast on the lanai was very pleasant. The host did an incredible job explaining everything at the treehouse and communicating throughout our stay. We had no troubles and appreciate Matt sharing his unique space.

Beautiful home in the jungle

This house felt just like a tree house nestled in the jungle. We loved the small sleepy town of volcano, but also liked being just about 8 minutes from the volcano national park entrance. The house was very clean, cozy and yet spacious for just the two of us. We kicked off our honeymoon with three nights in this beautiful home so that we could explore volcano national park. We loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend buying groceries in Hilo or Kona before you come, as restaurants are limited as well as places to get groceries.

Quiet and peaceful

This was a wonderful place to spend a few nights! It is quiet, peaceful, and roomy. The bed was the most comfortable we found on the entire island and the kitchen is well stocked.

Loved this little break from the real world

We really enjoyed having a little home in Volcano. We spent the mornings at the park, and the afternoons exploring the rest of the island. The space was perfect for us and we had a wonderful vacation.

We are Tara and Matt Hubner. We come from Texas but currently reside in Colorado. However, our hearts reside on the Big Island. We purchased our house in 2011 in hopes that we will live there permanently one day. We try to return as often as possible, but gladly open our home to you when we cannot be there to enjoy it.

The National Park and the volcanoes of the Big Island hold a special place in our hearts. We love all that the park has to offer in its natural wonders. The town of Volcano is nicely situated adjacent to the park, but there is also so much more to do nearby that it makes for the perfect location to enjoy the Big Island. We love the beaches and the snorkeling/diving all within the distance of a short drive. We love the diverse nature of the people of the area and the aloha spirit that they truly share with those who don't try and bring the mainland go-go-go attitude with them. We love the nearby markets that you can find on a daily basis. We also enjoy the shops and modern amenities of the nearby towns and Hilo. It's hard to beat the cool weather at 4000 ft elevation. So whether you're interested outdoor activities, peace and relaxation, or restaurants and shopping; there's everything one needs within just a quick drive from here. All this plus the fact that there are little to no crowds makes it our favorite place in the world!

One of our favorite things to do is drive out at night to the park. It's only a 10-15 minute drive to the crater rim from our house, and the views of the glowing caldera are mesmerizing. We try to go out every night that we can, and often there are people playing music or dancing hula for Madame Pele, and this makes it quite an experience. We've found that on clear nights it is possible to see the glow from Kilauea from our lanai and from the back of our property. We enjoy ordering takeout from some of the nearby restaurants and dining on our lanai under the stars.
