Hjemmet er indlejret på 1. 5 hektar oase, anlagt med lokale frugttræer og blomster, med et nøglefrit tastatur, der giver mulighed for 24/7 adgang. Fire soveværelser, der hver har sit eget komplette badeværelse og tv i hvert soveværelse. Nyd solnedgangen og havudsigten fra det øverste dæk, hvor et af soveværelserne er placeret, der også ser ud over hydro-poolen - et motionscenter, pool og spa. Nice clean house with a lot of room for everyone. Host was very accommodating with early church in and late check out to match our flight schedule. Bonnie if you like dogs let her know so she can let her sweet pup brownie come out to play in the huge back yard.

Beautiful Property

The property is as advertised, very nice and well landscaped. The home is spacious with AC and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Has essential kitchen supplies and linens for your stay. Great location to bakery, downtown Fredricksted and the beaches on the west. Will be staying here again in the future.

Best Stay in St.Croix!

Staying at Yellow Bird was awesome! the place was easy to access, very clean, spacious and better than the pictures! For us, the location was perfect! we each had our own room/bathroom which was really good for us ladies. Couldn't ask for a better host in Zanderene! She was the best! She was very responsive and available. I would stay here again and highly recommend this house!

My first time to st croix

I was here for a couple of days , it's a wonderful retreat location quiet open space and of course a great ocean view , we had big barbeque in the back yard lots of people ,very clean well maintained , bright secured location . I would say this is a great choice for families , a few couples or a relaxing getaway for men and/or women . Highly recommend

Safe and comfortable

Ms Parker is a kind and gracious hostess. Air conditioning everywhere was a real plus in August. We explored the island and enjoyed many beaches near Fredericksted and Christiansted. Absolutely gorgeous. When staying there do visit Armstrongs Ice Cream shop and Thomas Bakery, both closeby.

Zen held off FEMA and gave us a BEAUTIFUL place to call Home when we became stranded travelers. A wonderful hostess, lovely and comfortable accommodations, close to Fredericksted, but in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the ocean beyond. Thank you!!

Great, spacious stay!!!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and, Zen, the property manager, was absolutely amazing! The property was beautiful and had plenty of room for us, being properly updated and safe. Any questions I had, Zen was so quick to reply and tend to whatever needs we had. She was so friendly and kind, and I know that wherever I stay, I want to feel like I should be there and she made us so feel that way! Would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful, quiet home to vacation at!

Great place!

We had lots of space to spread out. The upper level had beautiful views & was serene. Plenty of dishes & silverware. Good pots & pans. Zen is a very sweet lady. Iguanas all over the property, so great. Close to beach & downtown. Short drive. Enjoyable stay. We couldn’t figure out the hot tub, but it didn’t matter the beaches are incredible.

Amazing Large House in St. Croix

I recently stayed at Zen's amazing rental property in St. Croix, USVI, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The place was spotless, spacious, and perfectly located for my needs. The host's(Zen) hospitality was top-notch, always quick to respond and make sure everything was going smoothly. I felt genuinely taken care of throughout my stay. I loved the convenience of the location, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything St. Croix has to offer. In a nutshell, clean, spacious, convenient, and fantastic hospitality. I'd definitely choose this property again for my next visit to St. Croix! Highly recommended.

Amazing property!!

This home was simply amazing. It was so beautiful and perfect for my family. Zen was a wonderful host, giving a nice tour of the property, the local agriculture and providing dinner for the guests. The house was fully stocked and you can tell Zen put a lot of thought into the layout and accommodations for the guests. The house is located close to stores and not too far from the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The AC was an added bonus as most properties don't have it. We highly recommend this rental property and plan to stay there again when we return!

Why stay anywhere else?

From the moment of booking, this was the best experience I have had on any rental vacation site. We stayed at a resort the last time we were in St. Croix and had a much better time here. The house is INCREDIBLE. All ensuite baths for the bedrooms. Super secure and everything is about 5-10 min away! There was 6 of us and we could not have felt more welcomed, relaxed and at home with our host Zen. She is wonderful!

What a Fabulous Time at YellowBird!!

What a great time we had celebrating my 50th birthday and the New Year at Zen's YellowBird. Zen was a wonderful host and helped us with our every whim. Everything we needed was there and anything that came up we spoke to Zen about and she made everything perfect. It was great having a police officer on premises. We couldn't feel safer. When we wanted someone to cook for us she arranged for "Preacher Man" to cook us a wonderful meal. I could not have asked for a more responsive host and a better place to stay. We loved her house and cant wait to come back! Zen, dont forget to look us up if you are ever in NY!! Take Care. - The NY Crew

Yellowbird house was just right!

We enjoyed our spring break stay at The Yellowbird. Zen was a wondeful and gracious hostess and was available when we had questions. There were 4 separate bedrooms each with a full bathroom, all well stocked with TP, towels, pool towels, and bar soap. The bedroom upstairs has several steep steps and is not connected to the main house. It has its own mini kitchen. There were lovely ocean views from upstairs. Each bedroom has it's own AC unit so everyone could adjust temps to their liking. The Hydropool was a nice treat for our teenager. Plenty of coat hangers for hanging wet clothes. There is pay to use washer and dryer, $5 a load. Perhaps a printed guest guidebook on how to use TVs, AC units, hydropool, updated wifi information, local attractions, and kitchen appliances would be helpful or perhaps a walk through tour on how things work would have been nice. Parking was secured and right next to the entrance of the house. We loved the quiet neighorhood and quick location to downtown Frederiksted and met our needs. We would come back!

Birthday Experience

The house itself was great. It had all the amenities expressed in the listing. The location was hard to find by some of the transportation drivers. The address is not given to you, she gives you the streets to turn on and the neighborhood. We had to use our Waze to feel comfortable. The hot water heater did not heat up enough water for 3 people to take a shower at the same time. We had to take showers one or two at time. None of us were able to enjoy the bathtubs, then after 3 people take showers you had to wait a couple of hours forthe water to reheat, which made using the pool. Because we couldn't shower right away, we had to boil water in order to wash the chlorine off. The owner stays on the property and frequently showed up to use the storage, check the flowers, things of that sort. She was very nice but it is not private at all.

Spacious house. Great value.

Our family of 7 had ample space in this house. All bathrooms are spacious and clean. No issues with hot water. All room A/C’s worked great. Pictures are accurate with exception of one missing chase lounge shown which required a kid to have to sleep in a bed with an adult. Large clothes washer and dryer were a plus. Unfortunately I did not see smoke detectors in the house. Yard was really cool with chickens and iguanas being frequent visitors. Outside barbecue pit worked well. Grocery stores are limited. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables but most meats and fish was frozen (could not find fresh seafood). Local beaches and Fredrickstead could be reached by foot if in shape and adventurous (no sidewalks) but otherwise transportation is a must. Ample and safe parking on the property. Frederiksted, Christiansted, and the other locations we visited were all safe and fun. Stay left!!! Lots of great memories made. Zen was an amazing host: never seen yet always available and super friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

Safe and Quiet Neighborhood

You can tell that Zendarene (Zen) takes great pride of her home. She lives on site but you don’t see or hear from her unless needed. The house was clean. Plenty of parking inside AND outside the gate. Every room has its own bathroom and access outside. Bathrooms included towels AND beach towels, blow dryer. The upstairs loft has beautiful views and nice breezes. Kitchen was stocked with pots/pans, dishes, cups, etc. There was a free for all cupboard with seasonings and coffee pot filters. There is also a dish washer. Plenty of chairs to sit outside, hydro pool was refreshing. Air conditioning: in every room! Check-in was easy. Make sure you follow the instructions as far as getting there. Check-out was a breeze. Take trash out and empty the fridge. Additional items: Just ask. We needed an extra blanket and she got it to us right away! Zen, thank you for having us. I’m so happy to have met you. Your home is lovely and we’ll be back again.

The Yellow Bird Experience

I first discovered the Yellowbird Luxury Vacation Rental two years ago on the VRBO website. At that time we opted to rent another guesthouse nearby. I regret not choosing the Yellowbird then. That rental experience did not go as expected. This year we finally rented the Yellowbird. This beautiful home is not just a home--it is an experience! Each room is professionally decorated by the home's gracious owner and on-site hostess, Ms. Zendarene Parker. All rooms are equipped with satellite television. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. There is a spacious kitchen in the main house and a handy kitchenette in the upstairs suite. A fully-stocked laundry room makes for easy clean-up on beach days. Another feature that makes this rental convenient is that both floors are equipped with Wi-Fi wireless internet connection, and the signal strength is great! Although ours was a large family rental and we rented the whole house, each room has its own bathroom, private entrance, and lounge area. The grounds are immaculately well-kept. Guests are afforded unlimited access to local fruits, vegetables, and herbs such as: papayas, limes, breadfruit, coconuts, thyme, basil, mint, achoite, rosemary and sugar apples. Ms. Parker is an avid gardener and provided a tour of the gardens. She even chopped some coconuts for us to enjoy some coconut water on a warm day. We utilized the outdoor kitchen and garden lounge area many, many times. I would highly recommend the Yellowbird Luxury Vacation Rental to travelers seeking to experience the Caribbean on their own terms and locals looking for a little get-away.

Beautiful house, convenient location, GREAT HOSPITALITY!

Zen was fantastic. Easy to communicate with (before, during, and after our stay), generous in her accommodations, and fun to talk with! It was nice having her stay on the grounds (though she kept her distance) when we had random questions for her. The house was beautifully cared for and kitchen was great! We stayed with 8 people covering 3 generations and everyone loved the house. The 8 and 9yo kids LOVED the hydropool, spending hours each day in it while the adults lounged on the deck! The convenient location was just down the street from several grocery stores, and a 5 minute drive to amazing restaurants (Louie & Nacho's, Smokes BBQ, Turtle Deli, Lost Dog Pub) and fantastic beaches (Rainbow Beach is our favorite)!! We went horseback riding with Cruzan Cowgirls - which left from a place just down from Rainbow Beach too. EVERYTHING WAS SO CLOSE! It was great not having to drive far to get to anything! Even the airport was only about 10 minutes away, and Christiansted was an easy 25 minute drive too. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at Yellow Bird House! Zen provided towels, sheets, shampoo, cooking utensils, tabelware, etc. The AC worked well at night, but the house had a great breeze moving through always too. The only thing that could maybe be improved on for future guests would be getting to the house initially. We flew in in the dark, so finding our way out to the residential neighborhood was almost impossible to non-locals. Our rental cars ended up having a problem, so we were provided a taxi and the driver knew how to get us there - otherwise we would have been calling Zen in a panic (though she would have handled it well). Googling the address would have gotten you close, just on the opposite side of the property from the driveway. Thanks so much Zen!! We can't wait to come back!!

I choose this lot because it was close to almost everything; beaches, the pharmacy, supermarkets, museums, town, local transportation, banks, airport, gas stations and still offers serenity. I designed and constructed this home in 1995 and has continued its enhancement.

This property is a mini botanical garden and oasis with Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge within walking distance. Other attractions are: Museums, beaches, water sports, dive shops, groceries, rum distilleries, beers brewer, rain forest, churches and more. All is within 5 to 10 minutes drive.
