Great location very close to the beach. Great parking situation. Room enough for all of us. Cooking materials were very clean and in good repair. House was nicely furnished and decorated. The porches and balconies were terrific. We really appreciated the outdoor shower coming in from the beach. We had a lovely stay.

This is the first VRBO beach house I’ve stayed at that required checking in at an office before going to the property. It also didn’t provide beach accessories such as umbrellas and chairs, or basic kitchen condiments like salt and oil. The interior photos make the home look much nicer than it actually is.Other than that, the location and neighborhood are gorgeous—the house is just half a block from the beach and sits in a gated community.

The hosts were definitely responsive, check-in was smooth, and the property was close to the beach to name a few positives. On the downside, the pictures definitely oversold what we actually got. The property had mold and a musty smell, the shower door wouldn't stay closed and kept opening around 12" when showering, some beds lacked complete normal bedding, stair boards were cracked and actually moving and ending up pinching both my wife and I's feet just walking up the stairs. Overall it was an okay property but we were definitely disappointed with what we paid for. If some of these items get addressed I think it would be much better.

Very nice and fit into what we needed. On the last day we lost water pressure which made it difficult, but we did enjoy the house and location

Great property

The house was extremely clean and had all the necessities. The properties location is superb and I liked that we didn’t have to enter the neighborhood but rather had quick access from palm blvd. Nice space for parking and easy access to the beach. The check in process could not have been any easier. Great property!

A nice surprise

We’d never been to IOP before, and we were pleasantly surprised by the laid back island and our beautiful rental house. Each bedroom had its own queen or king bed, and the bathrooms were plentiful! Beds were super comfy, living area spacious, lots of space on the screened in porch, amazing Wolf range and quality kitchen appliances!53rd Ave beach access had only three parking spaces at the end, but the walk to the beach from the house was about 150 yds….not too bad. Uncrowded beach, we even rented a surf board for a couple of days. Island Realty responded quickly to our communications and made our stay pleasant and easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is lovely. We had plenty of room and it accommodated our family for the long weekend. Just a short walk to the beach. We loved the access to the home on Palm Blvd. as well as the security of the back entrance through Wild Dunes. Just a few notes: The front right room on the main floor has a skylight in the ceiling. It is wonderful during the day lights are needed. It does shine brightly in your face when the sun rises and lights up the whole room, especially during this current time change. Also, please consider repairing the threshold in this same bedroom- as you are going into the bathroom. This is a trip hazard. It looks like there was one there, but it came off. We would definitely book this home again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

amazing location

Reviewer Comments: The location of this is perfect. The front yard/driveway is in Wild Dunes so you get all the perks of that but the back yard/driveway is on Palm Blvd, a quick walk to the beach. The only downside to this place is the starter kit (paper towels, etc) they give you is the cheapest and smallest. The hand soap in the bathrooms is almost nonexistent, the paper towels it the smallest cheapest roll I have ever seen. Also, pls note there are multiple steps to get in from either side of this house. the elevator is not for your use

Spacious and comfy spot on Isle of Palms

We stayed here in early May for a Girls Weekend in Charleston. The house was spacious, super clean, and well stocked with supplies (though we would've loved having beach towels available). The house is inside the Wild Dunes gated golf community, but you can also park in the front of the house directly off Palm Blvd which we found convenient. The ocean is less than a block away. The upstairs bedrooms both feature small private balconies with French doors that we loved opening to get the cool cross breeze off the ocean. Neighborhood is very quiet (quiet hours are enforced). Some guests may find the check-in process inconvenient because you have to go the rental office instead of directly to property, but we were already in that area for lunch so it didn't impact us. Check-out procedures were very reasonable. It's a great spot and we absolutely plan to return. Highly recommend!

It was really disappointing to find an elevator that we used if it worked. Couple of problems - when putting on clean sheet due to husband's cut, found sheets were stained with old blood stains. The spline around the screening on the porch was the wrong size allowing the screening to constantly pop out1. We left a vase for other renters to use because we didn't find one there.

Spacious Home Short Walk to Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at 4 Oyster Row. The house has a large and beautiful kitchen and open floor plan. Perfect for large families. The property was very clean. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, maybe less. We didn't even bother with our beach cart it was so close. It is also a nice walk up the beach to the ocean front bar, etc. Island Rentals was very helpful. When we arrived we had a shower that was not functioning properly and they had someone out right away to fix. The house could be improved with providing remotes for ceiling fans; cleaning to the outdoor furniture and with the addition of a swiffer and small handheld vacuum to keep the floors tidy throughout the week. We would 100% stay here again.
