Welcome to our whimsical beachside retreat, where you can slip away from your day-to-day! This 3-bedroom beach house is a treasure trove of eclectic charm, featuring: A fully renovated garage with swings, game room, an amazing fenced in patio, and touches of charm throughout.

We are centrally located, only 900ft to the seawall. Close to restaurants, shopping, pleasure pier, and more!

House was great and as described. The host communicated well and was very accommodating. We had everything we needed for the weekend. The house was clean and beds were comfy!

We visited for my daughter's 13th birthday and this could not have been a more perfect pick.The downstairs room with the mini fridge and TV was perfect for my daughter and her cousin to stay on where they really enjoyed feeling like teens while the little kids and parents stayed upstairs. It was close to the beach and we were able to walk back and forth. It was clean and well set up. The kitchen was fully stocked which every place says they are but they never actually are. This place however had everything we needed in the kitchen so it was perfect.The only complaint I had was the outdoor shower. The water was in no way warm so that was a bit of a bummer but it worked out ok. The yard was super cute and the extra amenities like the boogie boards for the beach were a nice touch. I almost wished we were able to stay longer.The beds were super comfy as well.

This house is so cute! It is nearly 100 years old but has been fully updated and is so colorful. It's a block from the beach and close to the things we wanted to do. We all enjoyed it and hope to stay there again.

Check-in email was never sent, I had to contact host 2 hours prior to check-in for information.It’s okay for a beach house, we had 3 adults and 2 toddlers for 2 days, the first morning we woke up to THOUSANDS of red ants covering the bathroom sinks and kitchen sink. Unsanitary and obviously an issue, there were ant traps throughout the house and RAID under the sink. Contacted host and they sent someone into the home while we were away to look into it - we came back to kitchen utensils in the sink and decor moved (?) the bathroom sinks are 6 inches in width, you CANNOT wash your face in this bathroom. The washing machine was used once- it was unbearably loud and the dryer took 8 hours for 1 load- maybe skip doing laundry.Shower curtain had mold stains. It got the job done but we didn’t use anything provided, kitchen needs a serious clean. Location is decent with parking on the street, permits provided.

5 day family getaway

The property was so clean, and the retro vibe was so cute! My kids loved the house, and the game area downstairs is such a huge plus for families! The beach gear made it so convenient for us to enjoy our stay without having to bring a million toys and carts! Galveston is such a cute town and we would love to come back and stay at this property again!

Perfect Getaway

We loved our time at this cute beach house! We had plenty of room to spread out. The kids had their own space to hang out downstairs and the patio was fun every evening. We were so close to the beach and restaurants, we barely had to drive anywhere! The house is very well equipped and the hot water was excellent!! Overall, a very great stay!

This house was just a few short blocks from the seawall and beach. You can actually see a bit of the ocean from the porch. Being there in August it was hot of course so we chose to drive those blocks rather than walk carrying all of our beach paraphernalia. so with that said be prepared to pay to park at the seawall if you are unable to find free parking areas. There are a few so look it up online. Otherwise buy a parking pass preferably before you go there and have to try to do it on the sidewalk in the heat. Voice of experience. We loved our stay here at this lovely home. The beds were comfortable the ac worked great the kitchen was clean and stocked with all we needed. Even a lot of spices and cooking oils. I especially loved the way they utilized some very vintage items throughout the house. Very well decorated and designed in the eclectic style of mixing decades of well kept furniture sinks and a tub you just want to stay in for hours and soak off the day. The downstairs area is a great place to enjoy games and downtime during the heat of the day. Our group played ping pong monopoly scrabble and what ever that other hockey type game is. That by the way was hilarious to watch. My granddaughter and I rode the bikes that are there along the seawall to Pleasure Pier and back in just a short time. Galveston is a wonderful place to visit and I am sure we all will be back again next year. Hopefully we can get Madison’s place again. Summer in Galveston”Oh Yes”

We LOVED the Blue Heron house. The downstairs was perfect for my kiddos. They swang and we played ping pong. The house is an easy walk to the beach just over the hill. We always rent a golf cart, too. We will book this house again in the future!

Perfect!

This was perfect for our family and we had a wonderful time. Honestly, we wish the house was for sale because we would buy it in a heartbeat. It is located near everything fun and stocked with everything you need in case you forget something.

Home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. When we got there for check in at 3, the cleaning ladies were still there and wasn’t out the house until almost 4. I think it was probably just a miscommunication with the check in time but they did do a great job cleaning the place up for us. I would love to come back and stay at this property!

Blue Heron For The Win!

So much character throughout the home. The decor is staged perfectly to match the style of the home. Our family had so much fun with all of the games on the lower level. So close to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely come back.

We had some trouble finding the parking permit when we got there (was supposed to be orange and on a shelf in the living room...turned out to be black and inside the guest book). LOVED accessibility to the beach, was able to enjoy morning walks on the sea wall every day and had great food. The house is very cute and the three of us each had our own bedroom (downstairs is a half bath, the upstairs two bedrooms share a bath that houses the tub). It was quiet and we very much enjoyed our stay - sadly we were too busy to even try out the hanging furniture!

The house is over 100 years old. It was updated but they kept the charm. Had everything we needed. Only a few blocks from the beach. You do have to cross Seawall Blvd but there is a crosswalk. We had an issue with the air conditioning (would not turn off. Too cold). They sent someone out right away. Overall, a great stay!

We had an amazing time during our stay and couldn't have had a better place to stay. From the ease of access, proximity to the beach, and overall beautiful home. They had everything we needed to enjoy a homemade meal while on vacation.
