This was a bucket list trip for my 90 year old father and he wanted to be in the woods and not in town. I made all the arrangements, so every spot we stayed was a surprise to my dad and sisiblings. Firs of all, when we opened the door and walked in to Chad's cabin my father, who was first in, was moved to tears from the view. It is absolutely stunning. The layout of the cabin, location on the lake, the surrounding quiet and beauty are priceless. There is no internet access, which we didn't miss, but was a bit inconvenient. TV was also not really an option, but once again it was not missed, just something we'd want to do at the end of our day of exploring to unwind with the family. Chad includes the things in the listing that are not provided, so read those carefully. There were 5 of us and exactly 5 towels and wash cloths were provided. So we bought more since we obviously used more, as well as toilet paper and paper towels, which are often more generously provided in other VRBOs in which I've stayed. The blinds in the main room were broken and askew and need to be replaced, I had to rig one up so it would actually stay up and not interfere with the magnificent view. The washing machine was chock full of wet items when I tried to use it, so I was unable to do laundry. The top of the refrigerator was grimy when I reached up to retrieve an item. With a bit more upkeep the cabin would be perfect. We loved our stay and overall, my family was very happy with our visit.
