Lev den tropiske luksuriøse feriestedoplevelse på vores Villa Esmeralda på grund af det fantastiske Bahia Beach Resort.

Stranden ligger en kort gåtur væk og kan nås til fods. Håndklæder er gratis ved poolen.

Bahia Beach Resort-ejendommen består af små øer, der er omgivet af søer og forbundet med broer. Søerne forbindes til floden Espiritu Santos, der starter ved bunden af regnskoven og slutter ved det mest østlige punkt på ejendommen i havet. Dette er et yndet hangout til manater, sanddollar og skindskilpadder i læderbakker.

Omkring ejendommen findes naturstier, der er gode til jogging, cykelture og fugle- og leguaanvågning. Mange usædvanlige fugle er strømmet til Bahia fra regnskoven. Ejendommen er også en del af Audubon Society.

Der blev gjort mange anstrengelser, mens Bahia Beach Resort byggede for at sikre en miljøvenlig ejendom. Under konstruktionen plantedes træer, der skulle fjernes, et andet sted og mærkes. En planteskole på stedet bruges til at opbevare planter og træer midlertidigt, indtil de placeres igen.

Lovely and peaceful property

We loved this property for our vacation. We stayed with our two young girls and had plenty of room. We loved the privacy of the property and how spread out everything was. It never felt busy and the nature surrounding everywhere was so peaceful. We appreciated and enjoyed all of the beautiful amenities around the property. The food was 5 star! We hope to be back one day!

Loved every minute

Fantastic stay. The resort is beautiful with most of the amenities shared with the St Regis, except for the pool and beach area. Though the separate Beach Club is exclusive for residents and was on the same caliber as the St. Regis. The unit was great and comfortable. Use of the golf cart was clutch for such and expansive resort property. And so much to do on the island outside of the resort. 5 stars all the way around.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation at Bahia Beach! The condo is perfect and it sits right on the 10th fairway in Las Verandas. The resort is in immaculate condition and the grounds are beautiful. You have access to three different pools and a tranquil beach! The The golf course is in pristine shape and holes 16 and 18 are on the ocean. Tania from the Marco Polo Team was very prompt with several of our inquiries and we were also given a late check out which was helpful as we had a late flight.

Great family vacation

We had a great vacation at Villa Esmeralda. The villa was perfect for myself, my husband and adult son. It is very quiet and comfortable. Coffee in the morning on the terrace, overlooking the golf course is priceless. The unit is well equipped and the kitchen is very comfortable. The rental process through VRBO was fantastic, easy and organized. Tania welcomed us on arrival. She was very sweet and took the time to show us around the villa and answer our questions. Bahia Resort has a lot to offer, trails, bikes, waterpark, tennis, golf, pools and beach. When we arrived the villa had essentials such as eggs, bread, cheese, bananas, juice, such a thoughtful and welcoming touch! We can’t wait for another opportunity to visit.

In Love with Esmeralda

Villa Esmeralda delivered in every way for an absolute perfect vacation ... The Villa is stunning and has everything you could possibly need -- equipped kitchen/comfortable beds/abundance of linens and towels/great decor/amazing terrace ... there was even food and drinks left by Marco Polo on arrival day ( amazing touch )! We spent so much time on the terrace with a great view of the golf course -- and were able to cook amazing meals in a kitchen that had everything you could need. And when you went out the golf cart that comes with the unit is such an easy way to get around. The setting itself within the Bahai Beach resort area offers so much -- an amazing ocean side pool, great beach perfect for long walks, great dining choices, tennis, golf, pickle ball, gym , basketball court, kayaks, spa ... just to name a few. The grounds are home to the St Regis and are incredibly well maintained. I can't say enough positive things about this location and villa -- it must be love! We will return again and again!!

Great home, unwelcoming resort

We loved the condo. The space was clean and well appointed. The host gave us some groceries to start our stay which was so nice! They let us in early which was even more nice! Unfortunately we felt very unwelcome by the hotel. Apparently the week we stayed was so kind of blackout for Las Verandas (the area where the condo is). We were told that we shouldn't use the main hotel pool. We were turned away at all the food establishments except the Beach Club (which isn't ram by the hotel). It rubbed us the wrong way for sure. If we had known we wouldn't be welcome it would have prepared more for dinners. Ended up ordering Domino's one night! Again. Loved the condo. The resort left something to be desired

Beautiful property, but a few suggestions

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Esmeralda, the property and unit are beautiful. It was perfect for our family of 3. However, I cannot give it 5 stars due to a few factors. Apparently it was off season so there was very limited to no dining options available at the resort. St. Regis dining was a disappointment and unfortunately that was often the only option. Hosts were lovely enough to set us up with eggs and milk and some basics upon arrival which was certainly appreciated. But knowing local restaurants were also all closed Mon-Wed would have been helpful. AC in the bedrooms was freezing, thermostat doesn’t appear to work. Cookware needs some replacement—pots disintegrating, blender lid missing a key component, no cookie sheet, Tupperware with damaged or missing lids. And the couch needs something to keep it from sliding all over the floor, like rubber nubs on the feet or a rug. These are all small inconveniences but for a premium rental hopefully they can be resolved for future guests. I do want to reiterate we loved the property, the golf cart is a great touch and the grounds are spectacular. Also loved being in between old San Juan and El Yunque. Quiet, remote and just charming.

Thank you very much for taking the time in writing your review. Please let us know right way when you have an issue in the property such as a thermostat that seems to be not working. We will take care of it immediately and fix it for you. It is our concern that you are comfortable during your stay at all times. We will take care of the cookware that you mentioned immediately, since many of our guests tend to cook in for certain meals during their stay. Bahia Beach Resort is far enough and close enough from San Juan. It only takes a 40-minute drive to the city with all its very divers and vibrant dining options, and its historic sites. You also have the option to go to Rio Grande or Luquillo to dine. You may find casual dining and even high-end restaurants on that side of the island.

Amazing vacation with kids!

We had an awesome vacation at Bahia Beach, that started with Annette and the Marco Polo team. 24hrs before we were to arrive, our 1.5yr daughter got a stomach bug. Annette was incredibly responsive and accommodating as we adjusted our travel dates and arrived/stayed 2 days later than planned. She could not have been more helpful and it made all the difference in our vacation. The villa - Verandas, building 5 - is situated on the golf course and directly across from the Verandas pool. The 2BR villa was very clean, comfortable and FULLY-STOCKED with every kitchen amenity - blender, toaster(s), coffee maker, espresso, French press - and every possible piece of serve/glassware needed for entertaining. The refrigerator was even pre-stocked with the essentials - milk, eggs, bread, juice & rum. (thanks, Marco Polo team!) The setup couldn't have been more convenient for a family with 2 young children. (Annette also made arrangements for a crib and high chair for our daughter, which was great.) The sand toys included with the villa, as well as the golf cart were the highlights for my 4yr old son. Without the golf cart, it would have been difficult with the kids to get back and forth to the pool, St. Regis, golf club, etc. The Verandas pool was always quiet - we were the only guests ever there. My kids loved the small, shallow pool at Verandas but we spent most of our time at the beachfront, member pool at Sugar Beach(beach passes needed). The family pool is separated from an adults only pool by a waterfall which my son loved. We most often ate lunch/had drinks at the pool at the Beach Club and we had dinners at the St. Regis. All of the restaurants are incredibly kid-friendly. We ate frequently at Seagrapes, as it was casual and easy with the kids. Fern is by the far the best restaurant on the property. Dinner was excellent and it, too, though more "formal" was very kid-friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Bahia Beach and plan to return soon!

Beautiful location - luxury amenities

This was a perfect location for our short family trip to Puerto Rico. While the weather was hot enough to keep most tourists away, it gave us a chance to experience the susnset alone on a deserted beach- to enjoy the golf club pool all to ourselves. It was a fantastic property with plenty to do with a family and plenty of places to visit to keep things interesting. A short drive to the grocery store, rainforest, and the nearby beach and boathouse. All around one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome winter vacation- super place. super staff.

We had a great time at the condo on this wonderful resort. The condo is located on the second floor with patio view of a golf course (yes there is an elevator). The condo is very nice, clean and has very nice appliances, dishes, glasses, and sufficient but dated pots and pans. 2 bathrooms are very nice. There is sleeper couch that needs few missing springs added for support. Overall, my wife, 16 year old daughter and I were super happy with the Condo which is well appointed and quiet. There are several Condo buildings that surround a beautiful pool that also has a gas grille and pool table with bathrooms. Using the golf cart, we traveled within the complex for about 2 minute drive to the boathouse and a 5 minute drive to the main Hotel of the St Regis, Bahia Beach. The cost of the resorts passes was included in our booking. This allowed our use of a boat house having kayaks, paddle boards, and an obstacle course on a fresh water pond. Bicycles are also available. There is a beautiful gold course also. There are a couple of restaurants on the the main hotel complex which are nice and convenient. The beach itself is fabulous with soft sand and clear warm water. There is wait staff for the beach chairs along with food and drinks. You do not need to "fight" for a beach chair. There are no people trying to sell you things or bother you. The main pool area is also gorgeous with plants and umbrellas with good shade. This resort is about 40 minutes from San Juan and also close to the El Yunque forest- (do not forget to make reservations in advance on the National Parks web site). We spent a day in Old San Juan and used a parking garage which was inexpensive. We were new to Puerto Rico and we found everyone to be exceptionally accommodating of our lack of Spanish language skills. We used the local super market Ralphs in Rio Grande but we would suggest the Supermercados FamCoop in Carola (Hwy 3 East) as a better alternative. The Condo and the resort truly have beautiful, safe and manicured grounds consistent with a 5 Star Resort. We enjoyed all aspects of our trip. I would also like to say that the booking staff at Marco Polo which facilitated our trip is extremely professional and helpful. We had good communication with them prior to booking and throughout out stay. There was a mishap with the dryer and they responded to our request for repair. This is a great place for a family vacation and we were extremely pleased.

Just what we were looking for

This villa was a perfect place to relax. We could take advantage of all that the community and resort offered - a long beach for strolling ( the water was rough while we were there but I am sure it would be great swimming at another time since the sand was so nice), free bikes and kayaking on a pond, the St. Regis and separate Beach Club pools, etc. the available golf cart was great ( the cart had a flat tire one morning, but management attended to it as quickly as possible, and even credited us for a missed day, which was very much appreciated). The unit itself was spacious and modern and with original art, I would definitely rent it again, if there were just two of us. The second bedroom would be ok for kids but was far inferior to the master so it might not be as good for two couples even though the living spaces were plenty large. We liked location of the unit even though it was a bit away from the beach since it was peaceful and shady on the large patio deck and the community pool was right in front of the unit. Communication with management via text, email or phone was easy and they responded quickly. Finally, most appreciated was the provision of some food and drinks ( bread, milk, coffee, eggs, butter, sodas, beers and some rum) -since it wasalmost dark when we arrived - a very helpful touch that got our stay off to a great start.

Worth every penny

The entire process of checking in and communication with as smooth as possible. The unit was beautiful and is the full and very clean. Access to the golf cart made the trip worthwhile. So easy to get around and use the resort when you have a golf cart. The staff was very friendly. Our unit was spacious and the beds comfortable. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Another Tip to Paradise, Great Apartment

This area is our paradise, we come to the same place every year, and chose apartments depending on availability. This property, golf course, beach, everything there is wonderful! This particular apartment was clean, spacious and have everything you may imagine needing on vacation. Note that rental price includes a golf cart to get around the huge property and enjoy everything it has to offer. Indeed, best address in Puerto Rico.

Percy villa, perfect getaway!

I’ve been to Bahia many times to visit family and have rented several different villas before. This was my first time at villa Esmeralda and absolutely loved it. The layout, decor, location and views were absolutely perfect. We arrived to some personal touches provided by the villa for us. I’d absolutely highly recommend this rental!

Fun and relaxing family vacations

Villa Esmeralda and the entire complex exceeded our expectations. The adults enjoyed the golf course and activities from the boathouse and the teens loved the boathouse and pool. Certainly, great time together. Love it and will recommend to all family and friends.

Lovely, fully equipped spot

This condo was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated having a few groceries on hand right when we arrived. The residences pool is right behind the condo and ended up being our fav spot. We usually had all to ourselves. The only thing that was missing was beach towels as they aren’t available due to Covid. The beach club food is very average for the price.
