2BR (sover 6-7): Udsigter, vægge af glas, kunstnerisk indretning, wifi

Hi Hailey, As we had explained to you, there is no such thing as an owner deciding to charge in USD. As owners, we do not decide what currency you see when you are on VRBO's website. The currency displayed by default usually depends on which website you went to (US or Canada), but you can always change it to whatever currency you prefer, no matter which portal you use. This is common to all accommodation booking websites that serve a global audience. I wish you had properly checked which currency you wanted the website to display in. I hope this clarifies that our listing is not in USD (or any currency in particular). Like all listings, it is in whatever currency you set yourself. Wishing you the best in your future travels. P.S. The rate you paid is for July, which is the absolute peak season for Canmore, and absolutely reasonable for that time of year.

Dear Greg, We work hard to satisfy our guests and take feedback very seriously. We are, however, mystified by your review, which is full of factual errors… 1. We have 5 dining chairs (not 4 as you claim), plus 2 extra chairs (at the 2 writing desks). We also have a convertible bench/coffee table that seats 2, so we can seat up to 9, if necessary. 2. We provide a medium pan, a large pan, small pot, medium pot, large pot and super-large pot… so many items that we can’t fit them in 1 cabinet. Perhaps you did not open the second cabinet? 3. The microwave is absolutely, 100% working. All the guests after you have used it, with zero issues. 4. You claim we do not provide instructions for the microwave. This too is inaccurate. The manual is located in the cabinet labelled “Appliance Manuals”. We even have a locator guide called “Where to Find Everything”. 5. Our bath towels are standard sized, used at most hotels. We also provided oversized towels (usually meant for hot-tub use), right next to the bath towels. We also always use fabric softener on our linen. 6. The new toaster is standard sized. 7. You even complain about our parking space. It is what it is…a parking space. If our secured, heated indoor parking space did not live up to your expectations, there is ample street parking. 8. Our artisan furniture (which costs a small fortune) is not “made from random pieces of wood”. Quite the opposite. These are meticulously-selected reclaimed historic barnwood, selected for their seasoned patina. This may not be to everyone’s taste, and indeed, those who prefer national furniture stores (and particleboard) may not have the same love for crackle barn doors, skip-peeled logs or polished crosscut maple slabs. We remain gratified that our furnishings have delighted other guests. In fact, quite a few have asked us for the names of the artists to commission works from them! Out of the very long list of complaints, the only thing we did wrong is leave an extra (broken) toaster, next to the brand new one. For this, we apologize deeply. We try very hard to please our guests, but there is not much we can do to defend against a guest who wishes to complain about everything, even the parking! Fortunately, travelers can see through reviews that are unreasonable or patently false. While we do not have many reviews on this site, we've received hundreds of overwhelmingly positive reviews on other websites we list on, and will continue to work hard to satisfy our guests!
