Cette maison est decorée avec goutL’amenagement extérieur côté piscine est non sécuritaireLe terrain face a l’océan se termine abruptement par un mur de soutien d’une hauteur de prêt 6 m.Aucune clôture prévenant la chute(le soir de notre arrivée nous avons failli tomber)En basse saison c’est comme un village fantôme. Sur place beaucoup de belles maisonsà louer 90/nuit.il n’y a aucun service permanent Nous sommes parti avant notre temps séjourNous avons loué un hôtel bord de mer à Manta pour 60/nuit. La mer et le Mall del pacificateur a 5 min.de marche. Nous avons retrouvé tout les services,la sécurité et notre joie d’être en Équateur (Villa nautica à Mirador San Jose n’est pas recommandé)

Une magnifique vue sur la mer

Notre séjour à la villa Nautica a été un pur plaisir. Sa localisation sur le site est parfaite. Les installations sont complètes et de bon goût.

Villa Nautica beachfront condo is very well maintained and fully furnished. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends.

Wonderful Getaway

Seems like we were the first people to ever stay at the property. Overall it was a great stay and the property and condo are wonderful. The master bedroom has a terrific ocean view and opens right to the outdoor deck. The other bedroom, which we didn't use, would not be as nice and would have no view, apart from out the front door, which is basically a view to the development which is under construction. That view would be a dry and barren landscape, dotted with homes being built. Since we were the first to stay there, upon our arrival, the stove was not even connected yet, but the person was able to find the piece relatively quickly and put it into place for it to work. The internet also was not available during our stay but again that may be just a question of time. The outdoor pool, a small infinity pool overlooking the ocean was also not ready yet (as was clearly stated in the description) and having the workers there working on it the last morning was a bit inconvenient, but again once it is ready it should just add to the overall charm and beauty. The place was actually much bigger than the pictures we saw which was a nice surprise. There is no direct access to the beach from the condo, but rather you have to walk about 3 minutes down the street and then down some stairs to access the beach. A car seems to be a must as the nearest town would be Puerto Cayo and the one convenience store near the entrance is limited in its options. There is really very little else nearby. We brought our own coffee, but were disappointed to learn that the machine in the condo limits the type of coffee you can put in there. Just an fyi for you coffee lovers. Overall though a great stay and we would stay again. Over time, it will be interesting to see how developed the development becomes and if that starts to feel crowded or not. For now, there are very few people there and you have the beach pretty much to yourself.

Thanks Ray for this fair and honest review. You are correct, you were the first ones to rent. The last time we were there (early Oct) we had everything ready to go, except for the stove, which we were told had been connected, so sorry about this. For the internet, I have contacted the company there and it seems that they were confused and did not remember that we included it with the rental. All the other places in Mirador, the guests have to pay extra for the internet, so they do not share the password until payment arrangements have been made. In our case, it is complimentary, so we will have to make sure this does not happen again in the future. The pool should be ready in a few weeks, so this will also be resolved soon. The construction at Mirador San José will continue for the next few years, however; most of the houses that are beachfront, like ours, are almost complete now, so the construction will be well behind us and this should not affect the guests. For the coffee machine, we assumed that specifying it was a Dolce Gusto in the description would be a good idea, but we did not think it through enough, we'll make sure we purchase a regular one for the future. But for those of you who prefer a more gourmet coffee, just make sure to buy some of the Dolce Gusto pods at a super market, as you will still be able to enjoy the Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
