Welcome to the 1712 House—a historic & luxurious escape. This 10,000 sq. ft. shaker-style home sits on 80 acres, a short drive from Accord, Kingston, Mohonk & Woodstock. The estate features 7 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, pool, patio, two living rooms with a gas fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, a dining room for 8+, a theater/game room, a rec room with ping-pong, a gym/yoga studio, and an office.



The Space:

The expansive grounds include a 2-acre rolling front lawn, duck ponds, and a hardwood forest with a winding brook that is visible from the pool and the decks at the back of the home. The estate offers endless spaces and opportunities for family and friends to gather, connect, and relax … whether lounging by the pool, strolling the grounds, enjoying a meal in the large kitchen or dining room, gathering to watch a movie in the theatre room, or sitting by the gas fireplace recounting your day, you and your guests won’t run out of things to do.



1st FLOOR | The main floor includes two living rooms with one gas fireplace, the kitchen, the office, two half bathrooms, and one bedroom.

2nd FLOOR | The 2nd floor includes 6 large bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathrooms, TVs, and breathtaking views of the estate. Designed with sound-proofing between bedrooms accentuating privacy for guests.

3rd FLOOR | A large game room and TV lounge with a card playing room, loads of board games, and a large couch with a smart TV that was built to entertain families of any size.



LOWER LEVEL | A large entertainment room with a ping pong table, pool table, and lounge. Separate gym with free weights, elliptical, treadmill, bike, and TV. Full bathroom with double vanity half bath and separate shower room.



Built from timber logged from the estate – including the wide-plank floors and impressive beams throughout – this home offers a one-of-a-kind experience that harkens to Colonial America but offers the comfort of today’s life with personal bathrooms for each guest, temperature controls in each bedroom, high-speed internet / WiFi throughout the home, and smart TVs throughout.

You have full access to the entire estate during your stay.



The Neighborhood:

The home is situated in the heart of the Hudson Valley in the town of Stone Ridge, just 2-hours north of New York City and 45-minutes from Newburgh Airport. You will be about a 2min drive from downtown Stone Ridge, and just a short drive from the Mohonk Nature Preserve, historic Kingston, fine dining, artisanal shops, live music venues, and additional outdoor activities. Easy access to charming Woodstock, Rhinebeck, High Falls, New Paltz, Kingston, Accord, Mohonk Mountain, Belleayre and Hunter Mountain ski centers.



Getting Around:

The house is located less than a mile from the main road, Route 209, giving you easy access to any major highway.



Other Things to Note:

Max 2 dogs under 30 lbs. Owners are responsible for all damages or accidents. Absolutely no pets on any furniture.



Please also note that the wood burning fireplace is not operational at this time. The gas fireplace is available for use.
