This is the first time we've booked on Vrbo. The property was as described and shown in the photos, clean and well equipped. This is a very private property, and so very close to the state park. I wish we could have stayed one more night! To plan better for your trip- find the cabin and check in while it's still daylight! Cell service in the area is limited, so you may not have service on your 'maps'...our Garmin had a better satellite connection. If staying on the weekend- Saturdays are the busiest days in the park, and we strongly suggest that you make your dinner reservations for the restaurants in Logan.

For future guests reading this: our cabin is tucked into a very natural, wooded area, which is part of its charm. Because cell service can be intermittent throughout the region, we send a detailed digital guidebook before arrival that includes offline directions, check‑in instructions, and local tips to make travel easier. Downloading that guidebook ahead of time ensures a smooth arrival—especially after dark. Weekends can be busy in the park and in Logan, so planning dinner reservations in advance is always a great idea. We’re happy this guest highlighted that for others. My son and I had a great experience here. Loved how secluded and tucked away the cabin was from the road. We had a blast playing the infinity board and watching movies. It had everything we needed and more. Very close to our favorite trails. Host was very responsive and made everything easy from beginning to end. Would highly recommend.

Nice Space for Family

It was a fantastic space in a great location that is both close to restaurants and stores, but also private and cozy! Loved the home and it was perfect for our young family.

Relaxing family retreat

The cabin was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The hosts were very responsive when a couple maintenance issues arose. My kids LOVED the game table and it was a great escape for our family of four.

This cabin was very clean, cozy and convenientlylocated.We had a few maintenance things come up during our stay but the owner was very responsive and helpful. Check in was easy and the owners provide all of the info you need for a great stay. We appreciated how easy the fireplace was to use and the hot tub was great. The gametable was a huge hit for our kids and we had a lot of fun with it.

We liked everything about our visit to Havenwood. That being said, I would offer a few suggestions to the owners of the property. When we do trips like these, I like to make dinner the first night, since we have been driving a distance to get there. I also like to cook a hearty breakfast before hiking in the park. You need to get a new set of pots and skillets! The ones in the cabin were very old, and had very scratched Teflon coating. I also would have liked a dishpan or rubber mat in the sink for washing dishes. I also like Dawn dish liquid in addition to Dawn foam. I would also like a dishcloth and some Barkeepers Friend to really clean the twin sinks. Other than those few things, everything else was great--the computer game board, the hill to make a fire & watch the sunset, the hot tub, etc.

Fantastic place

My sister and I really liked how close so many things were: Hocking Hills State Park, hiking trails, wineries, and town. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking! Check in and out were quick and easy! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. We would stay again!

Short weekend getaway

This property was PERFECT. A cabin in the woods, all the "needs". Very close to food and caves. We are definitely thinking of a returning visit in the near future!

Loved it!

The property was very clean, conveniently located to Hocking Hills State Park, hiking trails, the town of Logan and not far from several wineries. It was the perfect size for my sister and I. We enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes.
