The combination of exposed brick and wood, contemporary furniture, and mixed colors create an incredible ambiance you won’t want to leave! Walking distance to downtown favorites including the River Walk, Hemisfair Park, Southtown & countless restaurants, shops & other city attractions.
SADIE 2-STORY
This home is one of the most well-known properties in Lavaca - the former Live Oak Grocery building built in 1915 is in the heart of the Historic district and offers a one of a kind breathtaking view of the Tower of the Americas from the covered 2nd floor patio. Blending historical materials with modern aesthetics, this fully renovated home exudes modern elegance without losing its original charm. The large historic shop style windows allow the natural light to fill the spacious living area creating an inviting atmosphere. From the brick walls, stained concrete floors, beautiful, stained beams & cypress pillars to the high ceilings, polished quartz counter tops & gorgeous, refinished hardwood floors, this home is the perfect blend of original historical features meets sleek modern day industrial design. The fully equipped kitchen has been updated with everything you need to prepare amazing dinners, along with expansive kitchen island and separate dining area that seats eight. On the first floor you'll find the large open concept Living / Dining & Kitchen area as well as the laundry room, and half bath. A large bedroom with King bed and ensuite full bathroom with walk-in shower is located just behind the kitchen. A cozy, private backyard with BBQ grill is a great place for entertainment & relaxing w/friends in the afternoon shade.
Upstairs you'll find a large master bedroom with King bed, daybed with pull-out trundle, En-suite full bath with walk-in shower and ancillary bunk room. There are also 2 guest bedrooms sharing access to a full bath with tub/shower combination off the hallway. One bedroom with Queen bed and one with King bed. Enjoy the breeze & amazing view of downtown and the Tower of Americas on the 340 sq ft upstairs covered patio.
The large 2 car garage was completely remodeled & converted from it's original function as a dry cleaners in the early 1900's. Additional free on-street parking is available if needed. Please note: Although there are multiple antique doors that appear to enter the front of the home from the first floor of the property, only the single door entering from Sadie Street is functional. You can also park in the garage and enter the home through the back door into the laundry room.
The home boasts a total of five flat screen smart TV's in the living room and all main bedrooms - Internet enabled so you can log in to your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime accounts. You'll enjoy WiFi mesh net with high speed internet connection, water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water. All main bedrooms feature a luxury Posh+Lavish Oeko-Tex Certified mattress, crisp hotel linens and towels, and complete hotel bath amenities. The daybed and bunk beds feature Oeko-Tex certified cooling memory foam mattresses. The Coddle me Queen convertible sofa bed in the living room is not your ordinary sofa bed. They convert to a 80”L x 60”W sleep surface and feature sinuous springs and pocket coil mattress technology.
This home can accommodate up to 14 people.
SADIE BUNGALOW
This 3BR 2 Bath 1930's Bungalow was renovated and restored by the same designer and sits directly adjacent to and adjoining the two story property via connected fence. The combination of exposed wood, contemporary furniture, and mixed colors creates a perfect companion space to the larger home - allowing guests a separate space and privacy. Blending historical materials with modern aesthetics, this fully renovated home exudes modern elegance without losing its original charm. A private backyard with BBQ grill is a great place for entertainment & relaxing w/friends under the twinkling lights.
As you enter the home, you'll notice that natural light fills the living area highlighting the exposed wood feature wall and refinished hardwood floors. The living room provides ample comfortable seating and boasts a large leather sofa with ottomans and a luxury Coddle me Queen size convertible sofa bed. 75" UHD Smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked to satisfy any cook (even on holiday) - there's even a Keurig Coffee / Tea station. Drip coffee maker also available. The dining area offers an industrial style crank table with seating for 6 while an additional pub table in the living area will seat up to 3 more.
The master bedroom is furnished with a beautiful king-size iron bed. This room has an En-suite full bathroom with walk-in shower and is split from the secondary bedrooms. The second guest room is also furnished with a vintage-style king size iron bed while the third bedroom has a a Twin XL iron bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The secondary guest rooms enjoy hallway access to a large full bathroom with bathtub /shower. Enjoy access to an indoor laundry room with new front load washer and dryer.
Outdoors, you'll find a relaxing backyard oasis with a view to the Tower of the Americas. Grill your burgers and steaks and enjoy outdoor dining under twinkling overhead lights. It's all waiting for you to come and enjoy.

-Exterior surveillance via doorbell camera and camera at garage entrance
-Electronic keypad on front door for ease of access to unit. Key code changed after every guest experience

Guests will have access to the entire home except for several locked closets in each home that are used for supplies.
The Neighborhood:
Location is key & this property is located w/in walking distance of downtown favorites including the River Walk, Hemisfair Park, Southtown & countless restaurants, shops & other city attractions. Walking Distance to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the Alamodome. Uber and Lyft are readily available. Bike and Scooter rentals are plentiful.
Southtown is just south of downtown right near the King William District, with S. Alamo running through the heart of the district. This is where you can experience the 'puro' San Antonio - where all the best local restaurants, bars, and things to do can be found! This place gets rockin’ during the First Friday of the month, where everyone comes out to see local artists, drink beer, and listen to live music. Be sure to stop by over at The Friendly Spot for some beers, Bar America for some cocktails, and chips and salsa over at Rosarios! Pharm Table features a fabulous gluten free / dairy free menu. Bliss is a local favorite!
Getting Around:
A 15 minute drive from the airport. This area is very pedestrian friendly and boasts easy access to multiple bike share stations, electric scooters, Uber, Lyft, and the San Antonio bus system Viva route.
