The cabin and picnic Pavillion has a few minor flaws, although it didn't affect our stay. Bathroom door had to be locked to stay shut and doesn't line up correctly, and the electrical to the Pavillion is disconnected. Not a big deal, just noting for future tenants. My family and I really enjoyed this location, from the staff at check in, to being right on the water. You get the actual feel of being in the country, and anything you need is within ten minutes with minimal traffic. We will definitely be returning. If you have a few friends or family rent a couple cabins next to each other, you will be very pleased. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this park.

All was pretty much good. There was an additional 66 charge at check in that was not anticipated or explained. The ramada on the property was usable, but not kept up well. The power to it was not working, so there was no evening lightning. There were small flying bugs by the front door, but none inside. This is not surprising being in Texas with high humidity. There were a couple of wasps noticeable coming from under the front deck. But overall, for the closeness to the water and the price, it was a reasonable stay.

Rustic but peaceful

Location is wonderful in a very relaxing setting on the lake. The first cabin we checked into the exterior door would not lock so we changed cabins. The second cabin had several maintenance items that need to be adjusted or attended to. Again, the location was great and the staff super friendly but the cabins need updating and maintenance.

Beautiful Property

My wife and I went to Hidden Cove cabin for her birthday. We had a lovely stay everything was perfect from the cabin to the view. We absolutely loved it there. Everybody that we communicated with was very nice and courteous. They were also attentive. We had one small discrepancy, but we called up to the front office to security, and it was fixed immediately no more than 5 minutes. The only problem my wife had was there were no TVs in the cabins, but we understand that they are trying to give a camping feel and when you are out camping there are no TVs. Understood! Other than that we had an awesome time, and we will be back. we are actually planning something for a family outting there in the summer of 2025. Hope there is some availability for us when we decide to book.

Beautiful property to spend a few days of relaxation. The outdoor space is pristinely maintained. I felt very safe and comfortable walking my dog around in the late and early hours. Security on site was a great plus. The cabin itself is fairly small, but for two adults and one dog, it was perfect. The shower was a little dinky. The doors did not properly close without some major wiggling. However, as we did not reach out during our stay, we did not deduct any stars for this! Also as a note, hot water does not last longer than five minutes. The staff at the front office was very kind, but check in was a bit confusing. I received an email stating I could check in early, but when attempting to complete the form, saw I had a very small unpaid balance. This balance was from the business itself, not through VRBO. I reached out on VRBO and was told it was a small difference in fees, and that I should not have to pay anything further. However, I could not complete the online check in without settling the balance. This was a very small amount, but still confusing.Very small hiccup in an otherwise wonderful experience. We would love to return in the future!
