Such a pleasure

Karen is a kind and responsive hostess. It is our second time staying there, and we have always enjoyed our stays. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and close to the boardwalk. I truly recommend this place for a getaway.

Weekend get away

We were a little disappointed that the 2nd bathroom advertised was a communal bathroom by the laundry room and not in our unit. The upstairs neighbors were very loud and inconsiderate. The location of the property was great location and close to the beach. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay .

We are glad to hear that you had an enjoyable stay. As stated in our instructions, the second bathroom is available only to those renting this unit and is located in the basement. There is a key provided that you can use to keep the bathroom locked. We are sorry to hear that the neighbors were loud. If you had let us know, we would have talked to them.

Great location

Our host is very nice and communicates quickly. The space is generously sized. The beds are firm and relatively new. The air conditioners are quiet and work beautifully. It was clean and comfortable. The second bathroom is in the basement, but this was not a problem for us. Love the comfortable neighborhood. We had a great week.

Needs to be updated

Older property. Kitchen updated. Pots and pans included but need cleaning prior to use. Needs new living room and bedroom furniture. Flooring in living room has been patched. Flooring in bedroom needs repair - holes. Bathroom and laundry in basement but scary down there. Bathroom upstairs needs to be cleaned better.

We are sorry that you were disappointed. We have been renting for some time and work really hard to provide wonderful vacations as can be seen by the many excellent ratings we have received. Our renters love our home's charm and proximity to the beach. We pride ourselves on responding promptly to any issues that arise. If you had reached out to us at any time during your stay, we would have had the cleaners return and we would have told you where we keep brand new pots, pans, and other supplies. We really try to go the extra mile for our guests.

The house was an older property, but was clean and very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. It was close to the beach and some beautiful houses to look at as you walk the boardwalk, but quite a ways from the Atlantic city casinos. Not really walkable, but the bus stop is a block away and was cheap enough. Parking was a little bit of a hassle when we returned after 10 PM a couple times, but we managed to find a spot a couple blocks away.

Fun in the Sun

We had a great 2 weeks. Karen was great, quick to answer any questions and help in any way. Did not give it 5 stars simple because it could use some up grades with blinds in the living and dining room. It didn't bother us, though. Location is great. New washer and dryers are clutch. All you need in the kitchen. You might want to bring a few extra kitchen dish towels. Lots of games - enjoy!

Great stay with plenty of sq ft close to the beach.

Great property only 1.5 blocks to the beach. Everything was convenient; laundry, outdoor shower, tv, WiFi, parking, full kitchen, beach tags and chairs, plenty of toys. Fantastic stay.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The short block and a half walk to the beach makes it very easy to return to the house when you need to. Although the cable service was interrupted during your visit due to an area wide technical issue, it was resolved quickly. If you had let us know that you could not find the downstairs bathroom, we would have described it to you, but we have placed the description in our welcome information to avoid future confusion.

More Than We'd Hoped For!

This home was spacious, perfectly located (to the beach and jitney) and so comfortable! It had two complete sitting areas, a Foosball table that provided hours of entertainment on a rainy day, and lots of cozy comforters for curling up in the evening. We stayed here over Thanksgiving week and were pleased to find that the kitchen was fully stocked and ready for cooking. I was especially happy that the neighborhood was very safe and the building very secure. The check-in and check-out procedures were simple and easy. We had only a few questions during our stay which Karen responded to right away via text. We'll definitely stay here during future visits!

6/10 Okay

Great location but needs some attention

This was a last minute decision so we appreciated being able to get 3bedrooms so close to the ocean on a weekend! The house itself was roomy although somewhat neglected The beds in the two main bedrooms were not as comfy as we would have liked and the provided linens were really not there. We had to improvise by using top sheets for bottoms. Would have preferred some extra pillows and comforters also. The outdoor shower was so funky we could not use it. The drain was clogged. This house could be perfect with some attention to details that would have made our stay more enjoyable but overall we were happy to have access to Karen's home.

Nancy, We appreciate feedback and always strive to make our place a great vacation getaway. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the beds. Everybody has different preferences, but I will provide a mattress topper in the unit for anyone who wants extra support. We take the care of our place very seriously, and If you had let me know you needed extra sheets, or couldn't find extra pillows and comforters I would have made sure you received them. Thanks for letting us know about the clogged outside drain (probably due to the torrential rain just before you arrived). We will take care of it.
