We loved our stay the location was amazing and the access to restaurants was Perfect. We had hurricane Lalo and lost power from a fire in the foothills that lasted for 30hrs and with all that we were able to have a wonderful stay, we would definitely stay at Jim's condo again.

Wonderful property, beautiful view

Property was very clean and super well appointed. All you need is groceries. Lovely bedding, towels, free laundry facilities, and excellent communication with cleaning staff. Slight problem at the beginning of our stay that was quickly and graciously resolved. We will definitely stay here again.

Well Appointed Condo w/ Amazing Views

What a wonderful, relaxed time we had at this property. It was exactly as advertised, even better. It was a bit smaller than most VRBO's we rent (think really nice, upscale hotel) but well worth the price paid. The location on the island was perfect and the whale watching was just amazing. We would absolutely stay here again.

Truly a paradise

We loved the views, the sound of the ocean, sitting on the deck with our coffee and just plain meeting with God! Jim was great to work with. Hope to come and stay again! Thank you!

Magical

Had such a lovely time! About 40% of Whalers Village was open but we were grateful for that. The room location and amenities were fantastic - didn’t need anything more! Super convenient for everything and you can’t beat the incredible view. We will definitely come back to this unit!

Our stay was wonderful. We actually ended up staying in one of the larger condos in the same building also owned by Jim. The room was perfect. Location was perfect. Jim was extremely responsive and helpful! My husband and I are already talking about coming again in a couple years when our kids are older! My only criticism is that the rooms have carpet but that is me just being picky.

This is the perfect condo for us. It is on the 10th floor of The Whaler. Tower two. Near the elevators, and washers and dryers. Great view of black rock which was the main reason we booked this one. You can't beat the location. Perfect spot on Kaanapali Beach! Walking distance to everything you need! Will definitely book again! The owner Jim was great. He answered all the questions. Condo had tons of extras like chairs, umbrellas, boards, and snorkel gear with fins that saved us from renting.

Terrific place to stay. Wonderful views. Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. The Whaler and its staff are awesome. It is a beautiful and well maintained property. The ppl from the front desk to the workers as well as the other guests are friendly and laid back. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed for quick brunches to full blown dinners. Dinner from the balcony, taking in that sunset, never grows old. It is an easy walk to Black Rock and the Sheraton where we have always enjoyed snorkeling and always found turtles somewhere around. The Whaler Village has so much going on that if you need a shopping or restaurant fix, it is right next door. Looking forward to returning. It is so easy to find and get into the aloha spirit here.

Wonderful and quiet

I was surprised at how quiet it was here despite how many people are coming and going. We found it easy to go to bed at 8pm since we were on eastern US time. Location was superb for snorkeling of the beach- sea turtles galore- walking to eateries and driving to new places. We had no trouble getting around the island to see all the sights. Locations like beaches and trails are really not advertised and don’t have signs, so know where you want to go ahead of time. I enjoyed the 10th floor, being able to view the ocean and hills well. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen very functional. Thank you.

Beautiful condo with everything

This condo had everything! We've stayed at other condos and needed to bring extra supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, spices, etc). Everything was supplied---aluminum foil, plastic wrap, clips for our bags of chips; they even had laundry detergent for the free washer and dryer right next door. There are three Tommy Bahama beach chairs and three Tommy Bahama umbrellas, snorkel equipment, a killer view and a very comfortable Murphy bed, so you have a lot of room in the condo as soon as it's put away each morning. The unit itself is even better than the photos. We've stayed in other units in the Whaler and this has been the most luxurious condo yet. Just show up with a small suitcase of clothes and enjoy your vacation!

The Partridge Family Reunion

We have stayed at the Whaler 8 or 9 times, in various condos but never have we enjoyed the physical comforts & ambiance as much as we did here. It was so pleasant, with a beautiful view both inside and out. The decorating is superb, it made us feel as though we were home. There's nothing like the sound of the waves & breezes to instantly make one relaxed. It is amazingly spacious despite being a studio. We just can't say enough. The grounds have been designed & maintained so well. We are an extended family of 32, all staying at the Whaler. Twenty are grandchildren all of whom were fascinated by the Koi Pond (as were the adults.) The pool is always perfect, and then there's the beach. The Whaler is such a great place to stay! The ocean, the climate, the proximity of restaurants & shopping, not to mention the availability of so many great activities, makes for a wonderful "home."
