About the Home
Ridgetop Hideaway offers a unique layout to maximize the stunning mountain view. The main entrance is located "upstairs," along with the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom. The ground level is accessed via a traditional spiral staircase, which does not have a separate door.

Important to Note: 4-WHEEL DRIVE or AWD with higher clearance is REQUIRED year-round to get to this high-altitude beauty; WE RECOMMEND FIRST ARRIVAL DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. Approximately 0.9 mile of the drive to the home is on a gravel road, with some steeper inclines occurring within the final 0.3 mile. Greybeard homes are located close to Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles may be seen in our area in the fall and winter months, and it is not uncommon for them to find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather from time to time. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
