Couples’ Trip

Clean and comfortable unit set on a beautiful property. Location was great, close to airport and town with everything available. Definitely recommend staying here for families visiting Big Island!

Great location and Beautiful Grounds

Beautiful resort grounds and amazing pool close to beach access and downtown Kona. My only negative thing to say would be the lighting in the rooms could be brighter. While the condo had a nice layout with a great patio, it was very dark feeling compared to other condos we have stayed at.

Family trip for our boys' graduation

We had an amazing time. The property is immaculate and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. There is someone at the desk 24/7 and security on the property as well so we felt very safe. They will ask you to go to a time share presentation but weren't overly pushy about it, so that was nice. Very wellocated and close to the downtown core.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Condo was slightly outdated, but extremely comfortable and clean. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Perfect location - 1/2 mile walk to all the action in downtown Kona

The staff is so nice and caring. They seem very commited to having a wonderful property and the guests. Our unit was very clean and very functional. So many little details for you stay. Will definitely tell other about the property and return!!

Beautiful spot. Easy drivable access to snorkeling beach. 10 min walk to Honl’s beach. 25 min walk to shops. A short drive. Park on upper street to avoid parking lots. Parking lots very expensive.

Love this property

I always love staying at this property. Everything is exactly what we need when we travel to Kona. Only thing that I suggest is their check-in process should change. It shouldn’t take an hour to check-in because they are trying to upsell current timeshare owners

Great place for a couple of couples

We stayed with our toddler and our in-laws and their baby. There was no crib or option for one that I found so we ended up bringing our pack and play. This was a very picturesque resort, and there were turtles that we visited in the pond right outside our unit. Very fun spot with lots of birds. Great location. I will say the porch was constantly covered in bird droppings and we found a couple of roaches… but that comes with the location.

Memorable first time on Big Island

This was our first trip to the Big Island. We thought the unit was nicely furnished and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked so we could prepare several meals there. The lanai was used often for breakfasts. We enjoyed the visits from the local birds. Our kids (ages 14 and 11) enjoyed hunting for mongoose that seem to be everywhere around the whole island. The property has 2 pools and we visited both several times during our 6 day stay. The jacuzzi hottubs were uncomfortably too hot every night. There is no beach access at this property but we adjusted fine and drove about 30 minutes north to one that we really liked. Maybe it was the time of year we were there (early August) but there were a lot of mosquitoes to deal with...could have also been that this is a really good year for bugs. Overall its a nicely maintained property with lots of trees. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Everything was great with the exception that they asked us tobattend a sales pitch anf they were unprofessional and rude. Would never pruchase anything from Wyndham ever again.

Our stay was great! Staff very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Used the texting option when needing towels etc. Always responded to quickly and replacement items came within the hour. Grounds are well kept and beautiful. Pool is nice. Love the outdoor patio area in our room. Spent a lot of time there! Great place to stay!

Was not expecting the aggressive time share sales pitch

Property was worn and very dated. The towel rod in bathroom was a piece of bamboo cut from a yard somewhere. Little beetles in kitchen whenever food left out for more than five minutes BUT the biggest surprise was the aggressive sales pitch to learn more about time shares before getting the wrist band key systems

Nice Property-But proceed with caution

Had a nice time at this property. Info for anyone else staying here. This is being rented out from someone else's timeshare points. I was unaware of that until we checked in and they set us up to do a tour and timeshare presentation. Was told it would be 90 mins. Was 3 hours. Very pushy sales presentation, and I was signed up for a new credit card when we agreed to have our credit checked for a line of credit. I was not told they were signing me up for a new credit card. If I would have know that I would not have agreed. Sales manager was very rude when we told her no. Then when I saw the email thanking me for applying and getting the new credit card I was told that was not what they did. Told me over and over they did not do that and that no credit card would show up at my house. In fact within a week of getting home I had a new credit card in the mail. Would recommend the property for the location, and the property was very nice. Just know that this is a timeshare property and they will try to sell you on a timeshare. Also know that if your travel plans change and your flight is canceled, there is NO way to extend your stay for a night or 2. Our flight was canceled, and I had no way of getting in touch with anyone through VRBO. The people that had sent me a text and told me they would be available during check in if I had problems, did not answer my calls or text messages when we were scrambling to find someonwhere to stay for an additional night.

We stayed at the resort to explore the Western part of the island. We enjoyed the amenities, in particular the pool. Clear recommendation.

Great place to stay in Kona!

This is a fairly large two bedroom condo just south of Kailua. Condo was clean and had all of the amenities needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, including towels, shower gels, etc. There is a shed on site where people leave their beach equipment which we used and then added to. One night we had a fairly large spider (I think crab spider?) in the condo which freaked the kids (and me!) out, but I was able to eventually get it. The check-in process could be improved because right after checking in the fake "concierge" tries to do a hard sell on their timeshare sales. Did not appreciate that and had to be rude to him since he did not get the hint that I was not interested. The next day he called into the room again to hard sell.
