This cabin is 2 miles from Wolf Creek Marina.
We have a Lake View!!!
It is a 2-bedroom 1 bath cabin. The cabin features a down stairs bedroom with 1 queen bed and an upstairs loft with 2 twin beds, and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
We have high speed WiFi, dvd’s, books, a washing machine & dryer, AC/heating, and a PacMan Arcade game, outside grill, fire pit, horse shoes, and misc toys and books for children.
We have a wonderful large front porch that has a Lake View. We have a swing, rocking chair, and sitting chairs on the porch.
We have an amazing balcony that also has a lake view. It’s a great place to read a book or watch boats go by.
We have blackout blinds to keep the hot summer sun out.
Harris grocery is 4 miles down the road and has gas, essentials and also has breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Let’s not forget the ice cream!!
Nancy is 20 min down the road and has IGA grocery with a deli in the back, dollar general, family dollar, and a great Mexican restaurant that is very reasonable. Mill’s Spring battlefield museum and Haney’s Appledale Farm and restaurant is also a place to go. They have everything apples!!
On the back porch we have a twin bed that is a swinging bed. We also have two sitting chairs out there.

The cabin was a great getaway. We loved our experience there. We didn't realize that across the street was a large drop off and couldn't access the lake. Also could use some light out by the horseshoe pit. Other than that great! Would stay again.

The cabin was cozy. Contacted the Host because we arrived early and were able to get into the cabin. The front door knob had bird drippings, and well as the entry doormat was covered with droppings. Upstairs by the door there were a large about of dead stink bugs on the floor. Otherwise the cabin was clean. I like that it is pet friendly but, caution when letting you dogs out to relieve themselves, because there are dogs running free. It is as advertised, except they stated shampoo and there wasn't any. We did bring shampoo no problem but, it is advertised that shampoo is provided. There is parking as advertised but be aware that is pulling into the front yard there is no seeable driveway. Over all it was a relaxing stay and enjoyed our time on Lake Cumberland.

Sorry about the birds, lol that’s one thing I can’t control. There is a neighbor that has a dog who is super friendly. He does like to randomly come over if he hears the screen door slam shut for a treat or two. Sorry about that country living. I am very glad you had a good time!! Please come again.

We enjoyed the fire pit and the convenience of the location to the boat ramp. Only problem was the shower drained very slowly so we had to space out showers.

Very private and very peaceful. However, make sure for extended stays, bring all the food you need as there are no grocery stores within a 45 minute drive.Rained all days we were there, so could not really do anything outside.

Family Christmas

This cabin was adorable ! Very clean and nice. We didn’t do much there due to spending time with family at another cabin. However , I loved the view and it did have a nice porch to sit on and the upstairs is super cute. Will definitely be coming back if we are ever up that way.

This was a lovely cabin and the property is gorgeous- the view in the morning was worth the drive. I do wish I had known there would be no coffee or soap in the cabin- wasn't expecting that. Other than that surprise, it was well-supplied with dishes and towels. We had a last minute change in plans and it was only my Dad and me. Glad i didn't bring the dog, not sure she would have liked the next door Beagles who visited us regularly. Really, all in all, it was nice. It was easy to turn the boat around to get in and out.

Anniversary weekend #43

Before arriving I emailed the owner and asked if there were any other instructions or info I needed to check in? He replied no, have a great weekend. So upon arrival we encounter a key lock, which we had anticipated but saw there was no code included in any of our correspondence? So here we are, at our destination, after 5 hours of driving and we’re stuck on the porch! I messaged the host, and while waiting on a response we unloaded our luggage and supplies, and sat on the porch. I’m sure it was a sight to those driving by. After a few minutes we were notified by the host and gained entry. ( the host was not responsible for the key code, that was the websites error) We entered to find a kind note wishing us a happy anniversary and a nice bottle of wine to enjoy. Such a sweet gesture!! Our stay was very relaxing and much needed. I will say it’s a good idea to take your supplies and food on the way. It is a good drive to anywhere for most anything. The nearest establishment has minimal supplies. The cabin is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I do wish the property had been mowed and trimmed. The grass was a bit tall and I kept getting “burs” on my socks and pants. The time fluctuations were a bit of a pain as well, constantly figuring out what time is it?! And the swinging porch bed was a huge selling point for me as an avid reader. But was disappointed when I saw it. The back porch has a whole different vibe than the rest of the cabin? On a scale of 1-10, an 8!
