Great location with Old Florida feel. Lake is very shallow and no swimming, just so you know. Highly recommend if you bring your own boat.

Vacation Rental - Family Getaway

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this rental. The house was cute, welcoming, and very clean, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. We especially enjoyed the peaceful drive through the countryside to get there and loved seeing all the wildlife along the way. It truly added to the experience. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area!

Short Stay in Paradise

We had a wonderful stay. The home was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat dock. The only complaint I have is the fossette water smelled after running for a few seconds. And you would benefit from adding a coffee pot and removing the Keurig.

Cozy, welcoming and fun!

We weren’t sure what to expect even after looking at several reviews. We found the home very welcoming with great amenities and character. The property is very well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The dock and lake view were so relaxing. We also enjoyed the games and would have loved to use the fishing equipment if we had more time.

Great place

My husband and i needed a getaway from life. This beautiful property was perfect for what we wanted. It was a nice surprise that Walmart delivered so i didnt have to worry about forgetting anything. Also there is a small roadside stand that sells fresh smoked mullet that you need to try. Head to 60 and you will see it across from the dollar general

Perfection in a small package!

My husband and I found this little gem to stay a few nights before we could get in a family house. We loved it. Secluded, quaint and just perfect. The dock was where we spent most of our time while there as we were on a fishing trip but the house was as cute as could be. As shared in the booking info, the well water does have a smell to it but no concerns with that it. I’m OCD and this place was so very clean!!! We would stay here again.

We were there for work. It meet all of our requirements for myself and my employees, we were close to our job and supplies were about 20-30 minutes away from our location. We had what we needed to make our stay a lot better than a hotel. We will use your company again when we have to go back.

Our stay at the Cottage

My boyfriend and I were honored to be the first guests at this cozy cottage on Walk In Water Lake. The checkin instructions and the online guestbook provided by iTrip to get us familiarize with the place was amazing. We went canoeing and sat on the dock listening to the peace and quiet this lake has to offer. If you are looking for a place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle, this is the place! We did not fish, but we heard that bass fishing is great.

Our Lake Getaway

Our stay at the cottage was unforgettable. We invited our friends to stay with us and we were very comfortable. This cottage is very cozy and offers all the comfort necessary. We grilled a nice meal and watched a great movie on Netflix. Our friends really enjoyed canoeing around the lake while watching the wildlife. We will be back. Thank you iTrip for the great hospitality!

Perfect Escape

This quaint lake house in Lake Wales, FL was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodations were perfect, very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The scenery of the large lake from the sitting room was perfect and we enjoyed seeing the water birds and occasional gator. Any supplies or restaurants were a minimum of 10 miles away; so we suggest making a stock-up trip early in the stay. For fisherman, there are a few solid bait/tackle shops on the main highway. For nature lovers, there is plenty to see, appreciate, photograph. Our fishing efforts were not rewarded on the lake, and we had better success fishing Lake Wales itself and Clinch Lake. It was great to be able to use the canoe (rods, tackle and life vests are available for guests' use.) We would return in a heartbeat; only feature we were not keen on the sulfur smell of the water (well water). But really not that big a deal. We woke up early each day naturally and were ready for the day's activities. We enjoyed heading to Frost Proof and dining at the Frostbite Cafe. Overall a true gem of a house and lakefront property. The booking process, App and communications from iTrip (automated and otherwise) were perfect.
