We had a wonderful family vacation, of 7 nights. Was very clean and the communication was excellent. Everything went smoothly. Too far to walk to the beach club but we had a rental car and also used the shuttle provided on the property. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful accommodation

The condo was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend for anyone.

When I want a quick Costa Rican vacation I always stay within Reserva Conchal where this unit is located. The unit is simply fantastic. It has everything you need in the house including laundry. The home was clean, the host was very responsive for the one small issue we had and overall the place was fantastic and well priced.The only thing I wish the unit had was a BBQ on the patio, but there is one at the pool which we used while we waited out the rain. Overall I would highly recommend this place to stay if you find yourself in Costa Rica

Best Value without the All-Inclusive

We Loved our stay at this property! The condo was very clean, conveniently located on the resort property but not apart of the resort prices or fees. We loved that we had access to both the Club and the Resort pools. The only issue we had was the listing shows you down next to the ocean when in fact you are closer to the entrance gates. There is a shuttle that will take you where ever you want to go on the property so it wasn't that big of a deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Great central location and very quiet

We loved our location. The beach access was wonderful. So much nicer than Tamarindo. Hardly any people and the beach is beautiful. The beach club access was great. The condo itself was huge for just my husband and I. The only thing lacking were some more dish towels and cleaning supplies as we were here an entire week and we could have given a few things a wipe down. Great stay and a thank-you to property manager Marisol for all of her help. She was very easy to reach. Special Places management does a great job.

Beautiful condo, location ok

Condo is beautiful and clean. Description of location not accurate. 1.2 miles to beach with 200 foot incline (per fitbit). Driving to beach about 2.5 miles. There is a shuttle you can pre-arrange. Right on golf course, but pool is about 200 yds down the road and shared with all condo units. Takes a day to learn your way around the whole Reserva Conchal community. It is a very clean and safe area. Town of Brasalito nearby is great for dinners.

Fantastic property, but can improve communication and add helpful details

The property was clean and had good amenities. Some of the light switches turned off the electrical outlets when you turned off the lights. The washer and dryer were so helpful. AC worked well, but was a bit loud. The location is not as close to the beach as described. Recommend renting a street legal golf cart to get around the property and go to the local stores. We spent most of our time at the beach club right on Conchal Beach. The pool is cool and clean with plenty of lounge chairs and free kayak/SUP rentals. Try renting ($) the jet skis on the beach. Our teens enjoyed zipping around the bay and exploring the different islands and sea caves. We spent a day at the Westin pool. You need to get a wristband at the Westin lobby. We had to figure this out ourselves. It was not mentioned in the manual. The pool is lively and crowded. Drinks are free for Westin guests so make friends :-) It was fun, but a bit much for multiple days. Communication with the property managers could have been better. The signs on the property are not very clear the first time you get there. Look for the Arrecachillo sign. They offered concierge help and responded to questions at first. I asked multiple times to help rent a golf cart, but they ignored this request. We used a van service to take us to the Liberia airport, but the guard in front would not let him in because we did not email them ahead of time. Again this detail is not in the manual. It was a great stay, but room for improvement

Why everyone's going to Costa Rica

We enjoyed a week at this splendid 3 BR condo unit overlooking Reserva Conchal property and the Pacific Ocean. While November is supposed to be the end of the rainy season -- a few sprinkles hardly dampened our days. The connections through Special Places of Costa Rica were easy and everything worked as expected. This property enjoys the security of a gated community with a wide choice of activities, including pools, beach club, access to the Westin, nature trails and great golf. We visited Tamarindo and Coco/Flamingo beaches and enjoyed the inexpensive dining there, as recommended by Special Places. We beat the crowds by going in Mid-November.
