Nestled in 60 acres of woods, Harmony Hollow one room barndominium provides tranquility and peace for all who come and stay. Sugar Creek is just a short walk down the lane from the barn and, with the added beauty of nature, it truly is a retreat for couples needing to unwind and reconnect. Located only 8 miles from Turkey Run State Park, voted one of Indiana's best, Shades State Park, and Sugar Valley Canoe rentals. In the heart of Amish country, Parke County is home to the Covered Bridge Festival. Beautiful in any season, with activities for every season.

Harmony Hollows charming and cozy barndominium is picturesque both inside and out, nestled in the woods with the creek nearby. It offers a very well-maintained hot tub only a step away from the barn, a large stone ventless gas fireplace, an oversized and luxurious shower and double-vanities, fully supplied kitchen, charcoal grill, large covered porch and outdoor dining and seating areas, outdoor fire pit with provided wood, central heat/air conditioning, and free Wifi and cable TV.

Guests have complete privacy and full access to Harmony Hollow Barndo and surrounding hiking paths. The living space is spacious enough to be comfortable but is cozy and intimate for just the two of you.

We love to meet our guests but also respect their privacy. We are available if needed by phone or messaging.

We live on the same property about 100 yards away but the barn maintains its privacy and is very secluded.
No smoking or vaping inside the barn.
No pets are allowed as family members are highly allergic. Violation of this policy will be a $1,500 charge.

Harmony Hollow was the perfect setting for our last three nights. Terry and I came here for a weekend couples reboot and goals retreat, and we truly couldn’t have chosen a better place. We were able to unplug, reconnect, and fully rejuvenate for the year ahead.We loved enjoying the entire property—taking a peaceful hike, relaxing in the spa, and soaking in the quiet beauty of the land. Everything needed is supplied and at your fingertips. An absolutely beautifully decorated space which is relaxing and comfortable. Centrally located to both Shades and Turkey Run for great hiking trails as well as many covered bridges.

The online listing is beautiful, but the house and property are even more so! The facilities are amazing and perfect for a getaway. We were able to hike both Turkey Run and Shades State Parks because the house is so close to both. We made a wonderful dinner in the huge kitchen and had breakfast in the sun out on the patio with the swinging chair. Birds and quiet all around! Thank you—we will definitely come back!

This is a very well kept property. I didn't know what to expect from a barndo but this was very well done. It was perfect for two. And so QUIET. You will hear little to no road noise. Kitchen was fully outfitted. There were several spices available which I forgot to bring as usual. Sheets and towels were super soft. I would stay again if in the area.

We had a great time. I was a great place to getaway with my husband. Beautiful location and beautiful space. We enjoyed the porch in the mornings and hot tub in the evenings. Hearing and seeing the wildlife. The only slight drawback is it takes a little while to get anywhere.

Fantastic Place!

The pictures do not do this place the justice it deserves! Beautiful place to stay as well as a beautiful property! My wife and I would love to stay there again! The host is more than welcome to help, and has great hospitality! Definitely a relaxful get away while being close to the parks! This is our first vacation using an app like this and we are more than happy! Awesome place to relax after hiking, kayaking, or taking a well needed break! Don't over look this place because it is great and well centered around the Shades and Turkey Run parks!

Harmony Hollow is quite the hidden gem of serenity! The barndominium is just gorgeous inside and radiates peace. The property is well maintained and is a haven for nature! Great Retreat

We came to the area to visit Turkey Run and Shades state parks to hike, This was perfectly located in between both parks. We enjoyed the whole trip and were happy to see at the house, any and everything you need to cook and relax was already thought of and provided. The house seemed to be pulled straight out of a design magazine. We would be happy to return.

Very relaxing stay! The hosts have excellent communication. The barndo was spotless and exactly as described with every detail thought of for a wonderful stay. The location was excellent for our planned exploration of both state parks, Shades and Turkey Run.

One of the All-Time Best!

I hesitate to tell you how wonderful this place is for fear it will be impossible to book once word gets out! My husband and I agreed this was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. It's comfortable, beautiful and has everything you might need. The hosts are friendly, but very respectful of your privacy. The location was so close and convenient to both Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind in a quiet and nature-immersed setting, look no further!

Anniversary Trip

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The barndo was nicely furnished and very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very nice and responsive to our questions and requests. The property is beautiful and private and just a short drive to two state parks with some top notch hiking trails.

Wonderfully cozy location with a luxury lodge feel

Stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute there! Such a relaxing and beautifully decorated place in a wonderful location between Turkey Run and Shades State Park. The photos in the listing didn't do this place justice and we were mesmerized as soon as we walked in. Hoping to return someday! Thank you for such an amazing trip experience.

My husband and I live in Marshall, Indiana.. We both work in the local school systems and enjoy family time, the outdoors, and spending time with friends. Our desire is that all those who visit and call Harmony Hollow their home away from home may find Hope, rest, and refreshment~all while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. We bought this land and built the barn 5 years ago and loved it so much that we have lived there for the past 3 years. Just recently, we built a home to accommodate our growing family. We are excited to invite you as our guests to, we hope, enjoy a place we love and enjoy.
