This place was perfect for our quick weekend getway. The pictures do not do it justice. Todd was very kind and took the time to explain to us how everything worked and had a helpful list of activities and restaurants around the area. Its been a long time since we have gotten the chance to sit and relax and this was the perfect place to do so. I am definitely looking forward to booking again.

The Most Romantic Getaway!

Beautiful sophisticated rustic

Winderful Hill Country Luxury Cabin.

My wife and I stayed here a week and it is the perfect place to enjoy Austin and the surrounding area. The house is luxurious, well appointed, comfortable and the owner is extremely helpful. Thank you Todd for a great week.

Unwind in the Hill Country

This is our third time staying at this cabin home. Todd is a great host and very welcoming. The cabin is so quiet and peaceful and close to shopping and restaurants as well. Todd has done a fantastic job with details of places to explore in the area along with dining options. It is a great location to enjoy the Hill Country and not too far from Austin if you wanted to explore that as well. Good for couples. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, serene getaway with excellent hosts!

Wow! This cottage was the perfect place to enjoy a New Year’s getaway. It’s charming and beautifully appointed, quiet, and yet close to great restaurants and fun activities. Amazing!

A Piece of Heaven

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to take a break and celebrate our 23rd Anniversary. This cabin was everything we could’ve asked for. Beautiful views, peace and quiet, and fully stocked, just what’s needed for a peaceful getaway. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! It was the best place to view the solor eclipse!

A slice of heaven

We spent a wonderful Valentines weekend here. Todd and Laura have a slice of heaven, a wonderful acreage in a great part of town with beautiful topography and views. Development is certainly picking up in the area, but it does not detract from the peace and serenity of the property. The cabin is immaculate and you will not want for amenities. Todd and Laura are fabulous hosts, unobtrusive but making us feel well taken-care of. We strongly recommend coming here for a short getaway or a longer term stay. We can't wait to return!

Quiet Hill Country retreat

This is our second time visiting this wonderful property. The owner, TJ, is absolutely great to work with. Easy to communicate with and a joy to talk to. The home is gorgeous! Very clean and quiet. After a day of visiting the towns, breweries, and wineries of the hill country it was a nice place to come back to for a relaxing evening. TJ provides some recommendations for things to do and restaurants in the area which is very helpful. It is also a short drive (25 minutes) to downtown Austin. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks TJ for everything!

Hmmmm...Should I give a great review??? (wink)

I am really worried that if I list all the nice things about this place, I may have to wait in line to lease it again. However, it is hard to say anything negative, my significant other and I had the best time whether it was exploring this awesome area or coming home and snuggling in front fo the fire and watching long, sappy movies!! This beautiful house comes to life because of the grand personalities and helpful nature of our hosts - TJ and Laura. We can't wait to return.

Quiet and private setting for a stunningly beautiful guest house with a sunset view

Staying here left us feeling completely relaxed and at peace due to the quiet, the hilltop location, and the view! The serenity washed over us when we sat in the rockers on the porch as the sun set with a gentle breeze stirring the trees. The interior of the house has upscale finishes and furniture. Nothing but the best. The owners are wonderful people who welcomed us warmly. We were just minutes from Austin, the lake country and so many events it was difficult to choose. San Antonio is a day trip as is Fredericksburg in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We'll definitely be returning because of the way the cabin/cottage/setting made us feel. You can't buy a feeling like that.

Mixed Bag for Me

The cottage is very nice, but it’s far from Austin (45 mins at least with traffic). Also be ready for LOTS (like seriously a lot) of taxidermy animals. It felt a little creepy to me. Two handymen live on the property in RVs, one that is adjacent to but screened from the cottage. It felt a little transient and drifter-ish even though it’s probably a stable and long-term arrangement. There are also multiple guns as decorations, so be aware of that if it would bug you. The owners clearly have a lot of time, money, and emotion invested in the property and there were pop-ins and texts about details. It felt more like a B&B than a traditional VRBO in that sense. The owners have a wonderful and helpful guide to the surrounding area.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is settled back on the property. Stunning views, beautiful cardinals and deer all around. It was the perfect way for us to reconnect, relax and be still. Can’t wait for our return visit.

Best long weekend ever!

The property listing had us so excited to stay there, but somehow the house still exceeded every expectation! It was beautiful, both the house and the land it was on. Gorgeous nature and views, exactly the quiet we craved, and still close to anything we wanted. Todd and Laura had thought of every detail that anyone staying there could possibly need. Wonderful hosts, exceptional house and property, the greatest weekend we could've dreamed up. Thank you so much!!

Immaculate Retreat with Superb Hosts!

My wife and I visited the cabin for a much-needed weekend away and it was just an incredible experience. The cabin is beautiful, and immaculately kept. It was pristine, and so welcoming. The pictures online are great, but the cabin is even more beautiful in person, and the surroundings are serene and majestic. The best part about our stay was the friendly conversation with our hosts. We came on Saturday as strangers and left on Monday as friends. TJ and Laura are wonderful property hosts and even better people! For a beautiful, relaxing getaway that offers scenic surroundings and a perfect amount of privacy, combined with gracious and welcoming hosts, look no further - this is the place! Five stars all the way around - we’ll be back!

Gem in the Hill Country

My wife and I stayed here for two days and wished we could stay longer. The property is very clean and check in was very quick and easy. The view is spectacular and breath taking.

Location, location, location

Location was key for us. This one was spectacular. You felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, yet outside the property you were close to great eating spots. Our purpose for the visit was to hunker down and delve into Gods word. This was perfect because there were no distractions. The scenery was beautiful, the birds amazing at all the feeders and again the location perfect. We enjoyed meeting Todd and Laura and hope to one day go back just to visit them! True southern hospitality all the way around. You won't regret booking here.

A peaceful Get-away

Oasis

This property is a beautiful oasis in the TX hill country. The homeowners are friendly, extremely attentive and helpful. Our time spent here was well worth it. This is the perfect location to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet.

It was absolutely amazing!

I would definitely recommend staying here. We were away from the busy city life yet close to everything. We got an opportunity to relax which was well needed. Everything we needed was at the house which was very comfortable.
