We’re Jon and Ian—lifelong best friends who fell in love with Northwest Montana during a road trip back in 2020. We made a promise then that we’d return one day to build something special… and Highland Ranch is that dream come to life.

We’re both avid skiers, long-distance runners, and passionate outdoorsmen. Whether it’s trail running under Montana’s endless sky, a dip in Flathead Lake (our favorite place on Earth), or hiking through Glacier National Park, this landscape fuels everything we love.

Creating a space for others to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature has been our mission from day one. We hope Highland Ranch brings you as much joy and peace as it brings us.

Highland Ranch is nestled on 80 private acres in Montana’s Flathead Valley, with stunning views of the Swan Mountains and direct access to the Flathead River. We’re just 5 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport, 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish, 25 minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and 30 minutes from Flathead Lake—our favorite place on Earth.

But this land is more than a backdrop—it’s part of our long-term vision. We’re committed to sustainability and regenerative practices. Over time, Highland Ranch will grow to include a community garden, a regenerative micro-farm, and new eco-friendly features that give more than they take. We want guests to not only experience Montana’s raw beauty, but to reconnect with nature in a way that inspires stewardship, restoration, and awe.

Whether you’re here to fly fish at sunrise, hike world-class trails, or just unwind under the stars, this neighborhood—and this land—offers something meaningful.
