Faith Cottage is the front of two private cottages at Hope Cottages-by-the-Bay, tucked behind a keypad gate on a double lot on Nichols Avenue. Your side opens onto a fully fenced garden terrace: a splashing fountain, a shaded breakfast nook for morning coffee, a table for alfresco dinners, and a lounge for wine under the trees and string lights. Butterfly gardens surround you, with figs and persimmons to pick in season. Guests tell us they leave the shades open all day just to look at it.

Warehouse Bakery, Refuge Coffee and Fairhope Brewing are one block away, and so are the Stimpson Park pickleball and tennis courts. Guest favorites for dinner: Julwin's, Pearl, Sunset Pointe, Ben Jr. BBQ, and Little Bird, just named to The New York Times' "America's Best Restaurants 2026." The Municipal Pier and the bluff are a 5-minute drive for sunset.

The property was clean and accessible to our event venues. The host communicated everything with us in a timely manner. Very well-maintained property and nice location. Will definitely be staying with them again.

The perfect place to stay in Fairhope!! The location is close enough to all the shopping & restaurants. Dave is the perfect host!! The cottage is so cute with all the modern conveniences with plenty of room for a couple!!!

Small but absolutely charming, clean, well equipped and perfectly located. Dave was the absolute best from making recommendations for breakfast, brunch and dinner. Very accommodating. This place is 1st on my list for whenever we return to the area.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay while visiting the area. The cottage is spotless, cozy, beautifully decorated, and has every convenience for guests. The location is very quiet. We walked around the neighborhood to the pier from the cottage. We also enjoyed playing pickleball at the courts nearby. The outside patio is very nice for relaxing outside. Communication was outstanding and appreciated the recommendations to eat. The warehouse bakery and donuts is a must!

Beautiful, peaceful location! Cottage was well appointed, stylish and quiet. Perfect spot for a restful getaway. We loved all the private outdoor spaces, great spots to read (or nap). So many thoughtful touches from extra phone chargers to fresh ground coffee and throw blankets. We will definitely be recommending to friends — and returning for more getaways.

The Faith Cottage was the perfect getaway for a few days of relaxation! Cudo's to the hosts for the thoughtful design and functionality, tasteful appointments, technology and comfort. The outdoor sitting areas also provided privacy, quiet and comfort with shade trees and canopies all around. We look forward to another stay on our next trip to Fairhope! Great hosts!!!

We definitely recommend this place! The hosts were very accommodating and the cottage is well-appointed with all the amenities! We love visiting Fairhope and have made several trips to the area. We've stayed at several rentals and this one is by far our favorite!

This place is amazing! It has everything you need on site for a stay. Way more little things that make your stay amazing. I forgot a charger and what do you know they had one hooked up and ready to use! They were available for recommendations and checked in and made sure we were settled. 10/10!! Will be visiting this one again.

A friend and I came for Live at 5 for a girls weekend. We enjoyed being able to walk to the amphitheater and to downtown. Awesome place! Can’t wait to come back.

The property was beautifully landscaped with outdoor seating areas with a water feature (quite peaceful)! The interior was well appointed, had everything we needed and more, the host was very communicative and helpful, and the weekend was perfect! We highly recommend this property! Near the precious town of Fairhope which is well worth the trip!

This property was beautifully decorated, clean, and had multiple spaces for relaxing inside and out. There was good communication with the host. The only issue we had was not planning a longer stay! We definitely plan to return.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable *something very important to me*. The house has many thoughtful additions that we enjoyed. Also, we were so close to downtown Fairhope which was easily one of the most charming towns I’ve ever visited. Dave was a fantastic host as well! He was very quick to respond and just a wonderful person all around! If you’re a foodie like me, make sure to grab all his dining recommendations! We are already talking about our next trip back!

Close to everything yet feels completely secluded. Very tranquil setting with everything you can possibly need from the well stocked kitchen to the bathroom just bring your toothbrush! Gated, Covered parking, charging station for your EV. The property has 2 units but we never heard or saw the other occupants. Great communication with the oweners.. they really thought about every little detail! We will definitely be back.

We were in town for a wedding weekend. This was the perfect place for us. It was very nicely decorated and well furnished. The seating outside the cottage was private and comfortable as well as peaceful and quaint. We would really like to plan another trip to visit and stay here again when we can enjoy more of what Fairhope has to offer. It’s a very friendly town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and close enough that a day trip to the beach could be included. But even the bay pier and parks are good for resting and relaxing with a view. We will definitely book with this property again. Thank you for a nice stay and being such good hosts by providing good information and checking on us frequently.
