This property is an ideal getaway, especially for families with teenagers. The location right on the water, in a lovely neighborhood, is fantastic. The home is spacious, clean, well-stocked, and functional, with everything well cared for and thoughtfully maintained. It’s also very comfortable and easy to settle into.Having direct access to the water and being able to use the paddleboards and kayaks was a wonderful bonus. The highlight, though, is definitely the game room and all its amenities. There’s so much to enjoy, making it a great place to spend time together as a family. Overall, a great property in an excellent location!

You all should see this place. Beautiful property and great location. The setup was nice and it was very clean. We spent a lot of time on the back deck and by the water. We loved the water toys and pedal boat. The interior of the home was also newly furnished and updated. Perfect. The game room was an excellent touch as well. The owner was a great communicator and will set you up with whatever is needed. Thanks for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our weekend stay overall, the home was clean and the amenities were nice. A few things surprised us, though, that we wish had been mentioned in the listing. There are multiple exterior cameras around the property, and the thermostat is controlled remotely by the owners at all times, so any temperature change requires texting them. One other thing worth noting is the neighborhood itself, which was much noisier at night than we expected; late-night illegal racing, & illegal fireworks. Not the host’s fault, but it did surprise us for the area.

Greetings Jessica. Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear the neighborhood was a bit noisy for you. Some things (especially on a holiday weekend) are outside the control of a STR host. Disco Bay is on the CA Delta, and it is known for firework demonstrations for the 4th of July weekend. Normally our community and our street are very peaceful and quiet, but you booked a very popular weekend. The security cameras are external cameras, and they are there for the safety and protection of our guests and the security of our home. External security cameras are very common with professional STR properties, and these cameras are clearly disclosed in our VRBO listing. We do have the home set to a constant temperature in the home. Again, this is clearly stated in home information that you received 5 mins after you booked your reservation. The constant temperature has been more than comfortable for many other guests given our numerous 5* reviews. You were here on a record hot 4th of July weekend, and the air was running the entire time. Although you may think so, an HVAC system doesn't actually cool any faster if you turn the thermostat down lower. We are glad you and your entire family enjoyed your 4th of July at our home. We stayed here in January 2026 and is an absolutely beautiful spot. I really wish we had had more time to stay - the amenities, the games, made it a great place to stay with our family. There was access to the water and it is a stunning location. The hosts were welcoming and we felt good rely on them for anything we needed. The master bedroom was also incredible and the bed was extremely comfy. We hope to return again in the future.
There are so many board games and other games available to play.
Our teen kids love the poo

Hosts Rick & Jayme were effective communicators and very friendly. I knew exactly what to expect, seamless entry process and checklists that brought up many things I would never even have thought about. Same lists were re sent to me the day before checkout, so that was easy and anxiety free!Great games, beautiful water views, and amenities literally around the corner, made the stay really special.Fabulous location, water breezes galore and plenty of shade. Hosts were understanding and accommodating to my needs as a disabled guest, which is vitally important to my ability to travel. Great experience- I highly recommend

We had six girls staying here for a work, conference. The home was clean, it was so nice, the view was beautiful. Everything was perfect for our stay. The owner Rick spent a lot of time with us fixing the reservation that somehow got messed up. He was patient, kind and he didn’t give up in working with us and VRBO to get everything straightened out. He even stopped by to say hello to us, which we really appreciated. Since we already had so many conversations with him prior to staying, we felt like we knew him well so that was pretty cool to meet him in person. He even gave me AA battery for my wireless mouse, that I really need for work. I can’t say enough about him, the house, the view, furnishings and everything! It was just perfect! If I could, I would give a lot more than five stars. Thank you so much Rick for making our stay memorable, clean and beautiful!

60th Bday

Wish I could Give 6 Stars. House was better than advertised. Everything was great, except the first day weather, But host cant control weather. Will definitely keep this in my back pocket for future plans. So many things to do, Shuffleboard, Foosball, Air Hockey, plus all the water toys. So Much Fun, THANKS!!!

Perfect for all ages. Beautifully appointed. Comfortable beds. Toys for all ages.

This property is very well maintained. My family of 8 from age 10 to myself and husband (grandma and grandma) were very comfortable. It surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed the open airy layout and being on the water. The paddle boat was the favorite of the many toys provided. My grandson ( age 13) particularly loved to catch bass - catch and release ) off of the dock. Eating our breakfast on outside deck was a real treat this morning before heading home. Memorable Thanksgiving stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Rick and Jayme's home in Discovery Bay over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was beautiful, clean and quiet, offering a perfect setting for our family gathering. The water views from the master bedroom, kitchen and dining area were stunning, and we especially enjoyed the spacious patio, which was ideal for relaxing together. The night lights added a cozy and magical touch to the evenings. Rick and Jayme were excellent hosts — communicative, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating. They ensured all our needs were met, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone looking for a serene getaway. Thank you, Rick and Jayme, for helping make our Thanksgiving a memorable occasion!

We selected this home due to its close proximity to where our daughter’s wedding venue in Brentwood was. There were 9 of us staying there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and fit our needs; we didn’t use the kitchen other than the refrigerator for storage. We ate all our meals out, so we didn’t use the grill or oven/stove. We didn’t enter the garage. We didn’t use the fireplace, or any board games. We didn’t use any of the water crafts other than a SUP my 40 year old son used. The towel he used to dry off was left on a deck chaise. For checkout, we emptied all the garbage, stripped the beds, loaded the dishwasher w the glasses we used; and started it. The next day, the owner notified me that 2 decorative towels were missing. He asked if we took them! My sister swears she noticed one on the chaise outside by the door and the matching towel in a basket by the front door as we were leaving. Upon further inspection, owner said that one towel was in the basket still, however the other one was not on the patio/deck. Apparently they are decorative towels, not for using post-water activities. So, bring your own beach towels if you plan on going in the water. He deducted the cost from our deposit. It felt a little “he said, she said” but in the end I agreed to replace the 28 towel. My daughters wedding was beautiful and we were happy to have a safe place to sleep.

Five Star Review! Magnificent Hosts, and Gorgeous Property on the Water!

I want to first start off by saying that Rick and Jayme are amazing hosts! They came to our rescue when our family needed a place to stay. In summary, our daughter was getting married in the Brentwood area. We had a place lined up and the other host canceled our reservation at the last minute. I scrambled to find a place that was suitable in size, and a good location for our family. I searched VRBO and found this beautiful home that I thought would fulfill our needs for the wedding week. The only worry was whether we would be able to get it since it was last minute. Rick reached out to me personally and I gave him the run down of what occurred. He & Jayme did not hesitate and made their place available for our family. When we arrived at their home, We were taken aback how beautiful it was. In person the home was identical to the photos in the listing. Everything was pristine. It was well furnished and clean. It had several amenities that our family enjoyed including; indoor / outdoor games. We utilized the kitchen daily, enjoyed the comfortable beds, & loved the amazing water pressure! Our favorite, was lounging on the deck and paddle boarding. I tend to find both pros & cons of the properties I stay at, but honestly I couldn't find a negative thing about this place. Only negative thing is our time was short & we had to head back home. My family & I will definitely stay at this beautiful home again. Thank you Rick and Jayme for your wonderful hospitality!

Place is as advertised , will definitely book again. Communication with owners was easy and responsive, made the entire process straight forward. We were there for a family trip, mix of kids and adults and brought our boat. Plenty of room. Dock is great as well. Thank you for a great trip !

My daughter wanted a sleepover for her 16th birthday, so we rented this beautiful home. From Day 1, Rick was quick to respond. He was responsive before, during and after the trip. We had a couple small issues during our stay, and Rick was very responsive. My daughter and her friends had an amazing time! They used the pedal boat and kayaks and swam in the lake. They enjoyed the game room and made s’mores at night with the fire pit. As 16 year old girls do, they took plenty of pictures and made TikTok videos. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms worked well. My daughter said it was the best birthday ever! Thank you Rick and Jayme for letting us use your beautiful home.
