Located 3 blocks from the Historic Marietta Square, and perched on Marietta's highest point; Limelight Cottage offers views of Kennesaw Mountain from the back porch and the Marietta National Cemetery from the front - a truly unique experience!

Enjoy a 10 minute walk to restaurants, shopping, and the many seasonal festivities and concerts the Square has to offer. To enhance your experience exploring this charming town, our guests are treated to a complimentary gift card to a local coffee shop.

A 10 minute drive to the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park Visitor Center, as well as several trailheads into the forest and fields. National Forest trails are also safely accessible on foot for those extra-adventurous hikers.

Catch a Braves game at The Battery or enjoy its restaurants and vibrant nightlife scene, located 15 minutes away.

State Farm Arena (Hawks/Events), Mercedes Benz Stadium (Falcons/United/CFB/Events), Fox Theatre, Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Zoo Atlanta, are located in Atlanta approx. 30 minutes from the Square.

House was fantastic, great location to the square and local restaurants and shops. My wife and I came into town to do early Christmas with the kids and grandkids. Brian and Ericka took the time to decorate the house.

Everything was perfect! The house was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host provided thoughtful extras you don’t typically find in a VRBO—excellent coffee options and even body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. The host was also very responsive whenever I reached out.I highly recommend this cute cottage with ample parking and a very convenient location! We were here for a family wedding, and booking Limelight Cottage was the best choice we could have made!

My wife and father-in-law used this property while my mother-in-law was in the ICU in Wellstar. My family loved how well appointed the property was as well as its location. They used the historic cemetery located across the street for taking walks between visits to the hospital. The owners were so welcoming, and the check-in-out process made it seamless. Do recommend this property to accommodate your stay in Marietta!

Fabulous family getaway

The cottage had everything you need for a getaway. The host took great consideration with everything they supplied. They took the time to recommend some great places to eat as well as some interesting activities. Will definitely staying here again.

We had a very good stay at this home and truly appreciated how attentive and proactive the owners were. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. We arrived very late due to our flight schedule, and it was such a gift to walk into a softly lit home with the cozy fireplace already on. It immediately felt welcoming.The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. I have never seen so many useful tools and we didn’t find ourselves missing a single thing. The bedding and towels were very nice and fluffy, and there was even a thoughtful cozy blanket in the living room. The pillows were a bit flat for our preferences, but otherwise everything was very comfortable.We also appreciated having access to the laundry, which made things easy. The back porch with its string lights looked inviting and would have been a lovely place to sit. We were there during a cold spell, so we didn’t get to enjoy it, but we certainly made good use of the fireplace inside.One thing we didn’t realize ahead of time is that the home is located close to several businesses, mostly law offices, including one next door. They were closed over the weekend, so it was very quiet and didn’t bother us at all. We actually loved being able to walk into town so easily, with sidewalks the entire way. For guests who prefer a more traditional residential neighborhood, it may be helpful to know this in advance.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. Perfect, cozy location!!!

This is the perfect little house for doing and seeing everything Atlanta has to offer without staying in the middle of the city. We had 6 men stay here and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has been beautifully remodeled. Brian and Ericka thought of everything we might need for our stay, they even left a gift card to a nearby coffee shop + donut holes for us to snack on!! They were super responsive throughout our entire stay. Checkin and checkout were both super smooth. Super convenient location for our trip to a Braves game. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we plan to visit Atlanta!

Perfection!

Limelight cottage is precious and so cozy. The cottage is located across from Marietta National Cemetery (which is beautifully designed) with a view of Kennesaw Mountain from the back porch. Super quiet area, which is surprising for Atlanta! I brought my dog and walked him all around the neighborhood. We had come into town for a family wedding and it was super easy to get to things all around Marietta from the cottage's location. The hosts were great! They thought of everything including leaving us chocolates and a gift card to a local coffee shop. We will be back for sure!

We loved the cottage, the furnishings, floors, and how the house takes advantage of all the natural light inside. We also liked the open space in the back yard and the table & chairs on the covered back porch. We were glad there's a turnaround space at the end of the driveway out back too. We were already familiar with Marietta Square and the variety of restaurants there from past visits to the area. But we loved being in easy walking distance to it now. We've also been to the Market Square building before. The number of shops and variety of types of food served there is amazing. You just can’t beat that when different people in your group want different kinds of food, or you just don’t want to take the time to go out to eat and get served in a full-service restaurant.Checkin and checkout were a breeze. And the owners were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Atlanta and the surrounding area – e.g. the aquarium, Coke Museum, Truist Park stadium for the Braves, Kennesaw Mountain, etc. They also had a book on the coffee table about hikes and floating trips in the area in and around Atlanta. That was EXACTLY what we were looking to do. Bottom line -- We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

Limelight Cottage offers views of Kennesaw Mountain from the back porch, and views of the Marietta National Cemetery from the front; established 1866. The walk to the Square is laced with the cemetery's cobblestone wall on the left, and quaint cottages on the right, which house quiet law offices. The street is incredibly peaceful at all times of day, with very few cars passing by. The sound of birds provides a lovely backdrop to the setting. Limelight is a peaceful escape steeped in history, yet steps from vibrant activity. We hope you'll enjoy this charming town as much as we do!
