My mother rents this out when she comes to stay in MI and has my family and I join her to stay. This isn’t the first time we’ve stayed here, we’ve stayed here a few other times. The price of the stay this time for the short amount of time and the quality of the apartment wasn’t the best. It was super expensive and there was still issues that hadn’t been resolved from past stays. The blinds in the bedroom with the two beds had two broken chunks out of them and can see clearly out into the parking lot. There are gaps in the hallway to the other bedroom and hall bathroom on the floor that needs to be fixed. The bathroom in the one bedroom wasn’t the cleanest. And when we expect to pay for staying at a VRBO or anywhere where it has a kitchen it would be nice to have different things to be able to utilize to cook with. The cutlery was pretty pathetic. Not many utensils to eat with. One decent cutting board. The pots and pans are old. We bought at dollar tree cookie sheets. The host did order some things that had suggested and sent while we were there for the apartment. Communication with the host is good, just not the cleanest and fixed up and stocked apartment for the price we paid.

Great location

My family came down for a celebration and stayed at this lovely location in Rochester hills, it was super close to a number of amenities, was much larger than it appeared online, and the host were super quick to respond and insure that their stay was nothing short of extraordinary

Good comfort stay

Rooms were good size and the bed count was good for who we had... However, having pictures of bedrooms would be nice to see ahead to lay out roommates list and the kitchen set up. The management company team was great on the ready with being available when needed, and understanding of our unique set up for the nearby ice arena week-long event.Only comment was check in procedure didn't come in till morning of arrival and morning of departure. But good in explaining the secure door process and then to the apartment locking.Recommend checking the 2 apartment listings they have nearby if have more than 5 people sharing a place.

Bad property management communication

The property’s exterior was not very appealing. The interior was good but the furniture was sub-substandard. The bed in the master bedroom was super creaky. The communication with the property team was not as responsive as we would have liked.

Check in process was not easy. I didn’t get my instructions till the day of - and found out I couldn’t check in till 4pm. Ok fine. The lock box outside of the building was open with no key, I wasn’t getting a quick response from the owner, but another resident let us in the building. We got to our room 2 flights of stairs up, at almost 5pm and it was still being cleaned. She did a decent job considering the last people stayed a very long time and didn’t respect the property. There had been pets there and still pet hair on the couch and chairs. There were 4 long black hairs still in the shower. We could all smell cigarette smoke and thought it would go away but after the second day we realized it was coming thru the ventilation of the other apartments. ALSO, did not know it’s an apartment complex and didn’t know people who lived there have their own parking which we accidentally parked in and a lady was very upset with us. The master bed is very squeaky, metal frame. The other two were fine. There’s a digital keypad on the door which at first didn’t work but the housekeeper got battery put in it. We went out came back and couldn’t get in. There’s also a realtors lock box with a key in it, that he sent me 4 different codes for. Apparently one was a master back up and that was the only one that worked.This was a lot of trouble to stay here and not cheap enough considering all this. We won’t be staying again when we’re back.
