Located within the Rumbling Bald gates and just a mile away from the amenities, our ranch-style home with a newly renovated basement provides a secluded retreat nestled among trees. Yet, it's conveniently accessible via a scenic drive down a paved road to enjoy all the lakeside activities awaiting you. Get ready to enjoy amenities like the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, two golf courses, mini golf, sports courts, playground, and more, or relax at the onsite spa or one of the several onsite options for a bite to eat and cold drink.

Post-Hurricane Helene Update for Summer 2025:
While crews continue working to clear debris from Lake lure, limiting direct lake access for swimming and boating, the beach and playground are open for play and sunbathing. In addition, Bald Mountain Lake, it is another lake within the gates Rumbling Bald is open for swimming and non-motorized boating! There you will find a public dock and lake side picnic area, and Rumbling Bald will be offering kayak and paddle board rentals here on the weekends throughout the summer! Chimney Rock State Park aims to open by Memorial Day weekend, and the Town of Chimney Rock itself hopes welcome back guests soon after that this summer! As restoration efforts continue, we recommend checking in with us for the latest updates before booking if you have any questions or concerns.

- Please note that while our home can accommodate 16 adult guests, it is only equipped with *10 guest passes* for the Rumbling Bald Amenities (meaning only 10 guests ages 12 and up may utilize the amenities, ie pools, beach) at one time. Please inquire prior to booking if more clarification on this would be helpful.
- Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 dogs weighing 50 lbs or less. A pet fee of $75 per pet, per stay, will be applied. Please note that due to limitations with our property management software, this fee cannot be added directly to your booking total and will be processed separately after your booking is confirmed.
- Damage Waiver and Guest Verification: Prior to your arrival, you will be requested to complete guest verification through our trusted third-party provider, Truvi. This process helps us provide additional protection for both our guests and our property. Truvi will reach out to you via email to guide you through the verification process, which includes uploading identification. Please complete this verification before arriving to ensure a smooth check-in experience. As part of this process, you will also be asked to purchase a $35 non-refundable damage waiver through Truvi. This waiver provides coverage for accidental damage up to $500 during your stay. Truvi is committed to creating a safe and secure environment for both guests and hosts. By verifying identities, Truvi helps prevent fraud and ensures that everyone involved is who they say they are. We value your privacy and security, and we want you to feel confident throughout your stay. -Please note that the outdoor seasonal pool hours may vary at the beginning and end of the season due to weather and staffing availability, please reach out with any questions prior to booking if may impact your stay.
- No Parties or Events: To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors, parties and events are not permitted.
- Daytime Visitors: Only up to two unregistered guests are allowed to visit during the day. Please ensure that all visitors leave by 10 pm to respect the quiet hours.

- To enhance your protection, this property is equipped with a Ring camera featuring audio capabilities situated at the exterior of the house. The camera will be actively recording the following areas throughout the duration of your reservation:
- Road in front of the house
- Entrance to the property
- Parking pad
**Please be assured that the camera is configured to respect your privacy and does not have visibility into any interior spaces.
- Please note that the terrain adjacent to the road and entrance, including the outdoor fire pit area, features steep slopes. Guests are advised to exercise caution, particularly with young children, and use designated pathways to navigate these areas safely.
- Lake Lure is home to some wonderful wildlife, including black bears. While they usually keep to themselves, it's essential to be mindful of their presence and exercise precautions during your stay.
