Spring is just around the corner! The Sequatchie Valley is about to burst into full bloom. Our booking calendar is filling up quickly. Book your stay today and see what the excitement is all about. Enjoy our 5 Star hospitality at Spring Street Place as you explore the mountains. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this charming home within walking distance of downtown Dunlap. It is less than 1 hour to Chattanooga, Fall Creek Falls State Park and other area attractions. Nearby Harris Park features a splash pad, playground, and pavilion. Walk over to the Farmers Market on Saturday morning for fresh baked goods, locally grown produce and artisan crafts. Historic early 1900's home has been lovingly renovated and updated with new appliances and furnishings. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a quick meal or a feast. We are ready for your stay!

This is a beautiful home that feels like a home not a rental property. The attention to detail and kindness from the host family is second to none. Will stay there every year if available.

Perfection

We loved everything about our stay here! The location was convenient, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of blankets, the kitchen was well-stocked, there were lots of clothes hangars, and the hosts were amazing. It was all the little details that made it just perfect.

Great family vacation spot!

My family and I loved the atmosphere of this house and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was like being welcomed into an old friend's home rather than a sterile rental. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even added a few personal touches to make our stay memorable. Tons of room to enjoy family dinners and game nights but also relax quietly by yourself. Great location that made day trips to the mountains, Nashville and Chattanooga convenient. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in eastern Tennessee.

Beautiful historic home!

Grab a cup of coffee in the morning, by the wood burning stove, throw on a quilt by the sofa and enjoy that conversation with your mom you’ve been missing. This was just what I needed. I wish I could have stayed longer. The house was immaculate, and well stocked. The decor was spot-on! My only gripe, is that of a 1500 security deposit for a one night stay! This almost turned me away. I would definitely stay again!

We've stayed at many vacation rental homes, but this one truly stands out for the A hospitality and responsiveness of the hosts. This home is exceptionally well-prepared for vacationers! Philip and Lisa have carefully considered every detail to ensure a ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. We were greeted by a warm welcome note and fresh baked pumpkin bread! The home was well-equipped from kitchen supplies and paper staples, coffee and condiments, labeled cabinets (a nice bonus), waters, toiletries, bedside charging stations and more - there are too many to list! It was a relief after a day of travel to not have to rush to the store with a big shopping list. The home was clean and spacious. Check-in and check out was simple. We also appreciated the carport as we had a couple days of rain during our visit. Thank you Philip and Lisa - You've set the standard for what vacation homes should be!

Cozy and Comfortable

This property was a perfect girls’ get away for my daughters, my granddaughter and I. We had a lovely time at this cozy little home in downtown Dunlap. We enjoyed the porch swing and the rockers on the front porch and all the cute cubbies upstairs.The hosts were wonderful and the online description of the property was exactly what we experienced.

We love the large lot, the majestic pecan tree shading the back yard, enjoying the swing on the front porch, and being close to downtown, especially Harris Park next door.

This home is one of the older homes in Dunlap, built around 1900 and purchased by George Johnson, my grandfather, in 1913. George built his blacksmith shop on the Cedar Street side of the lot and raised his family here. Since then, five generations of our family have lived in the house.
