Cozy Stay

Great, clean property with enough space for a group of friends or a whole family. Great location beautiful home,and an all around perfect stay.

Nice clean property in good location

Property was clean and well maintained. Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway with my family. Close proximity to restaurants, stores and activities. Highly recommend!

Ski trip

Quick last minute ski trip with friends. The place was perfect. Well equipped kitchen, cozy layout & great location. Wildlife in view as well!

Ski/Snowmobile Trip

The property is great! Super clean, everything updated last year, snowmobile trails and parking two miles north off Caribou, grocery store within a mile and Grand Marais 18 miles. Definitely would return and recommend family and friends.

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It has the charm of an older cabin (gorgeous oak floors!) but it’s been completely redone in the most beautiful and functional way. There are tons of windows offering gorgeous views of the woods and wild flowers while letting in lots of natural light. The cabin has everything you need - the kitchen is well-stocked and beautiful. The host communication was quick and responsive. Our goal was to spend lots of time in nature, and the location of this property was perfect for us. Close enough to Grand Marais to drive in for dinner, and centrally located to amazing hiking and the Gitchi-Gami trail system. We biked miles on the trail. The beds and bedding are dreamy. I owned a professional cleaning company for years - this cabin is CLEAN. Tasteful decorations and comfy furniture add to all the charm. We have found our new favorite place. We’ll be back!

Lovin it up the north shore!

Cozy Blue is a great place to stay. The property is well maintained and easily accessible. From booking to departure, the communication from the host was outstanding. We could not ask for a nicer place to stay. We are already conidering booking it this winter for skiiing and snowshoeing. If you have not stayed at Cozy Blue, we highly recommend you give it a try!

We loved the decor, sweet, cozy, felt clean and newly renovated. Overall loved it. The mattresses are really firm and one shower for 8 people worked and can be challenging. Would love to have a shower up in the loft, too!

5 stars all the way around - from communication to the house handbook to every feature of the home. We were immediately impressed with the finishes and the finishing touches. Everything was in excellent condition from towels to sheets to kitchen appliances. We could tell right away our host worked hard to make our stay special.

Home away from home

Absolutely loved this home. The kitchen was completely stocked. The loft had a fan and was the perfect temperature, not too hot. Quiet area. Right near a little grocery store, coffee shop and gas. Short drive to ski and Lutsen and could ride the ditch for about a mile and get on a snowmobile trail. Perfect. I will say that the beds are firm. Like with capital letters firm, but surprisingly I didn't find them uncomfortable and I am over 50.

Unfortunately, we were recently notified of the mattress firmness from a guest and it has taken longer than expected to get mattress toppers on them. We chose the same mattresses we use personally because we love them. We discovered the beds are no longer made the same as they were when we purchsed them personally. While we have had guests enjoy them, and beds are a preference thing, we didn't realize how firm they were compared to what we have in our personal home. Our guest's comfort is incredibly important to us and we want to make sure our guests have a truly comfortable bed to drift off to sleep in. We hope you’ll stay at Cozy Bue Caribou again in the future!

Friends and Family

We stayed the weekend at max capacity with 8 people... my wife and I, our three kids, and three adult friends. The space is small but doesn’t feel cramped, in fact, the home welcomes close connections. It's very close to the local Lutsen shops and nearby attractions. We spent our time eating home cooked meals, exploring the nearby mountains on the superior national trail, visiting the beautiful superior shoreline at Grandview loop, playing cards at the dining room table, and sitting by the camp fire catching sights of the northern lights. Amenities and cleanliness were A+! We were talking all weekend about our desire to come back to the Cozy Blue Caribou.
