The space
The Jungle House’s interior welcomes you with bohemian maximalist decor and fun modern design touches. You and your guests will be able to spread out and enjoy four bedrooms, a cozy living area with plenty of seating, and a contemporary indoor dining space with seating for 8 guests. The dining table can be easily converted to enjoy a game of billiards or ping pong after dinner and two large sliders open seamlessly to allow access to the outdoor living space. Whether you are here for the beach, the city, or just to take a break, The Jungle House has everything you need for an unforgettable South Florida experience.

The Jungle House is perfect for a single couple, two couples, a single family, two families, or a group of adults and features four comfortable bedrooms for a perfect night`s sleep. Each room is outfitted with high end linens, room darkening curtains, fluffy pillows and buttery-soft quilts. Bedroom configurations are as follows:

Primary Bedroom: King bed, boutique hotel inspired ensuite, workstation, 55” smart TV
Bedroom 2: King bed, 55” smart TV
Bedroom 3: Queen bed, 55” smart TV
Bedroom 4: Queen bed

For your comfort and convenience we provide the following amenities: salon-quality shampoo and conditioner, grapefruit + mint body wash, facial cleansing wipes, Meyer’s liquid hand soap, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, Simply Organic spices, laundry detergent, and fabric softener. The kitchen is equipped with a fully stocked coffee bar including freshly roasted specialty coffee, a variety of K-Cup Pods, Twinings Tea, raw sugar, stevia, and an assortment of Nestle Coffee Mate coffee creamers.

Our gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream with high-end stainless steel appliances (electric cooktop + oven, french door refrigerator + freezer with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, farmhouse sink, toaster, blender, tea kettle, Keurig coffee maker, 12-cup drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, french press, waffle maker, electric hand mixer, and crock pot) and all the tools needed to cook just about any meal including silverware, plates, and glassware and wine glasses for (8), measuring cups and spoons, pots and pans, cooking utensils, potato peeler, pizza cutter, rolling pin, cheese grater, knife set, cutting boards, colander, mixing bowls, wine key with bottle opener, various baking sheets, pots and pans, can opener, meat thermometer, BBQ tools, cleaning supplies, citrus zester, salt + pepper grinders, olive oil, and spices.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house with the exception of the (2) locked owner`s closets. The driveway can accommodate a maximum of (3) vehicles. No street parking allowed.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm - 7:00 am (The city of Oakland Park has a STRICT noise ordinance in place and may fine or terminate the rental if a violation occurs). Please be advised the neighbors pay close attention to the rules and they will report any misconduct so please be quiet and courteous at all times. There are non-recording noise sensors inside and outside of the home that monitor decibel levels (they DO NOT record audio or video). Guests will NOT be refunded if they violate the noice ordinance and are asked to leave. Guests may be responsible for any fines imposed on the host from code enforcement as a result of the violation.

This is a newly remodeled home and the hosts wish to maintain the quality and integrity of the property by offering a pet-free and smoke-free environment. Minimum age to rent this home is 25.

This is a split-level home with a pool, soaking spa, and other common features/amenities that could be potentially dangerous. Children must be supervised AT ALL TIMES and should NEVER be left unattended (without adult supervision) inside OR outside of the home.

The home is equipped with a wood burning fireplace that DOES NOT WORK and was kept for aesthetic purposes only. Unauthorized use of the fireplace could result in fire or smoke damage to the home and a minimum fine of $2,500.

This home is equipped with (1) Alexa-Enabled EchoDot smart speaker (located in the living room) that is used to run our home automation system and control certain features of the home including lighting. Please DO NOT unplug any automation devices, WiFi router, or modem. Doing so may result in advertised features or amenities not working properly.

Oakland Park is located in a sub tropical climate in South Florida and certain months of the year can be very hot and humid. It is not uncommon for even the best A/C units to struggle to maintain set temperatures during the hottest parts of the day. We do not monitor, adjust, or limit A/C usage, however, there may be times where parts of the home may not cool to your set temperate and unfortunately, that is not within our control. We do not recommend setting the temperature below 68 degrees as doing so can cause the A/C unit to `freeze` up and become inoperable.

The Jungle House is located in a tropical climate and as a result, you may see or encounter wildlife while in our home or neighborhood. This could include (but may not be limited to) iguanas, birds, mosquitos, ants and palmetto bugs. Though we do our best to manage the controllable aspects of our property, there are certain elements that are common in our environment that are out of our control. We graciously ask that you embrace the occasional quirks of South Florida living while staying with us.
