Delightful, newly renovated, 3 bedroom cape in a charming country setting
In the picturesque rural town of Marilla, right outside East Aurora, this lovely completely renovated cape home is a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming choice. It’s a peaceful option that’s about 20 minutes from many of Western New York’s popular destinations. A nice choice for a family, a couple, or an individual…traveling for family visits, shopping and site-seeing or a business trip.
We are walking distance to The Marilla Country Store. Founded in 1851, the store is the oldest continuously operating country store in New York State.
On the first floor is an inviting farmhouse kitchen that seats 8 comfortably. Everything you need to eat-in is provided, including a full-size gas oven with air-fryer option and modern amenities. The coffee bar is stocked with a colorful collection of mugs (pick your favorite to use during your stay!) and options for coffee and teas.
A spacious and comfortable living room has enough seating for all, with a large, plush sectional, two recliners, a large TV, plus an electric fireplace for cool nights and a cozy atmosphere!
Also on the first floor is a serene bedroom with a king bed, nightstands with USB ports and TV.
A private room with a couch, lift top table and TV offers a quiet work or hangout space. The couch can be converted to a full-size bed. A full bath with shower completes the first floor.
The second floor offers two pretty bedrooms, one holds a queen bed and the other has two twin beds, comfortable for adults as well as children. A second full bath on this floor has a tub with shower.
There is plenty of space in the game room to enjoy a large selection of games, cards and books.
With plenty of outdoor area to enjoy too, you’ll love your time at the Marilla Country Cape!

Our stay in Nov 2025 was delightful! The home was very clean and host was very responsive. We arrived to find a big welcome snack basket that thoughtfully included several items for the young children who were with us. There was also yummy cinnamon rolls. Our family really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home.

This was a wonderful ‘cottage’- one that accommodated 3 couples and a single with ease. Warm, well stocked, beautifully decorated, communication on point. The hosts thought of everything (everything!!). It is our first choice the next time we travel to Buffalo. We loved it!

Everything was great! The little basket of goodies and especially the cinnamon buns made the kids feel welcome immediately. I have a hard time getting comfortable away from home but this place was really cozy. We enjoyed the games, toys and roasting marshmallows in the backyard.

Stayed here on a weekend in Buffalo for a wedding. Sandy was so responsive and the house is spectacular. We brought our 4 kids and had plenty of space for everyone. This is the best home we’ve stayed at on any site. Would recommend this property and location to anyone visiting the Buffalo area.

Quick getaway
Such an amazing stay. The home was well kept and comfy, the hosts left snacks which was great for the kids, close to everything, and we enjoyed the fire pit both nights that we stayed. We wish we could have met the hosts and introduced ourselves. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.

If I could give this lovely Marilla Cape 10 stars I would !! The property is beautiful, spotless and has everything you might need and more ! The hosts are very quick to reply. We travel often and this property, by far, is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Looking forward to when we can return !

Everything we needed and more
The hosts thought of every amenity we needed for our three generations family that included a one-year-old. The welcome basket was impressive, right down to a stuffed toy for the baby! Comfortable stay, thank you Sandy.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. From the moment we walked in, it felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The host truly thought of everything, even leaving a beautiful snack basket that made us feel so cared for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the overall comfort of the home was amazing. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and gave us the perfect space to relax and enjoy our time together. Every detail made our stay so special, and we would choose this home every time we return. We are so grateful for the experience.

Outstanding!
This property was absolutely gorgeous! Had an absolute blast with friends in prep for a wedding in East Aurora. Plenty of entertainment options and great local food options. All the amenities you can think of were right at your fingertips. The owners are extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable upon our arrival. Highly recommend!

This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our family. Check in was easy and a welcome basket was awaiting our arrival! Everything about the house was warm and welcoming. The house is spotless and fully stocked with every necessary amenity. The beds were comfortable, the front and back porches are fully furnished, the backyard is private, the firepit has seating, and the country store is a wonderful adventure. Sandy is an amazing host. Always smiling and accommodating, she's available, responsive, and friendly (as is her staff at the country store).

Cozy and bright
Really enjoyed our stay for the Bills game ! 6 adults had plenty of room to relax , house was well stocked! Sandy was a great host and communicator!

Fantastic Find
What a fantastic find for our sisters’ getaway! We were looking for a place that would accommodate the four of us getting together. This was perfect! The hosts made sure that we lacked for nothing. In addition, my sisters and I loved the aesthetically pleasing and comforting decor. Without hesitation, we all agreed we would stay again.

A Little Slice of Home
Our family of six adults could not have been more pleased with our comfy weekend stay. Sandy and Paul are so welcoming and hospitable and their Marilla Cape truly captures that essence; a true gem with a home away from home feel. Every detail has been carefully thought of with such a relaxing and calming presence. Be sure to take the quick walk next door to the Marilla Country Store; an experience not to be missed. We look forward to future trips to the Blue Cape!!

The Best VRBO Experience Yet! (Stay Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, Marilla, NY)We just completed a wonderful stay at this country-themed home in Marilla, and it was, by far, the best VRBO property we have ever stayed at. It was an absolutely great place to stay that truly exceeded expectations.From the moment we arrived, we found the property to be very clean and incredibly comfortable. It definitely met all of our needs for our week-long trip. The owners, Sandy and Paul, have clearly poured a lot of thought, care, and meticulous effort into outfitting and decorating this space. The country theme is wonderfully executed, making the whole home feel cozy and welcoming.In addition to the interior of the home, there is ample room outside for a relaxing picnic or for gathering around the fire pit in the evening—perfect for enjoying the crisp fall air.The home was exceptionally well-equipped. Our only minor suggestions for improving the stay are the addition of hot pads for the kitchen table and a couple of squeegees for the showers. These small items would further enhance the already excellent guest experience.We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and excellent stay in the Marilla area. Thank you, Sandy and Paul, for providing such a top-notch rental experience!

Winter Family Getaway
The Country Cape house is the nicest VRBO that we have ever stayed in. We brought our kids and 2 year old grandchildren with us. The house was such a pleasant surprise from the moment we checked in. The hosts have thought of everything. There are numerous amenities for kids including a high chair, pack n play, toys, sippy cups, and tons of games, puzzles, and books. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything and everything you would need for a weekend stay as well as a coffee bar. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The mudroom was a great bonus since it was snowing the entire weekend. The decor was beautiful and the fireplace in the living room was so cozy and provided warmth during the cold days. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had plenty of extra linens and blankets. We loved being able to walk down to the adorable Country Store that the hosts own. It was definitely a perfect house for our family and located just close enough to the airport and some of the quaint towns in the area.

The Marilla Country Cape is renovated and updated with all new furnishings. It's a delightful, clean and cozy house with plenty of space for up to 8 guests. There is a large, fenced yard and outside deck space. It's the kind of home where you would enjoy spending the whole day with your group, and you'll love coming home to the Cape after an eventful day.
