My husband and I absolutely loved this cabin!! Beautiful property, cabin was amazing and clean! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway!!

Great place to stay. Private, quiet, and comfortable. Felt like home. Everything we needed and more. Grilled steaks, hungout in the hot tub, fished the pond, enjoyed petting the horses, very relaxing. Kitchen was well equipped for any possibility. Couldn't have had a better place to stay, if you enjoy solitude and country settings. This is the place. Thanks Joe.

What a perfect location for exploring everything The New River Gorge has to offer. Completely secluded, you will not see anyone. Hot tub was great after hiking. Probably my favorite thing was giving apples and carrots to Reggie and Blazer (the horses) and seeing them near the cabin in the morning. (You have the option of keeping the gate closed if your prefer so that they don't come up to the cabin). Great property for our dogs to explore. Beautiful waterfall behind the cabin!! We had a great stay, no issues. We fell in love with West Virginia.

This was a fabulous property with a wonderful kitchen and the acreage is amazing! We star and horse gazed.We would definitely stay here again. Joe got back to us right away with any questions.

This was our fourth stay at the cabin. Never disappointed. Perfect and peaceful getaway. Highly recommend especially for anyone traveling with dogs.

Nice cabin, although the bathroom sink drain was in need of unclogging, and the main bed was a bit uncomfortable, overall it was a nice place to stay for our anniversary for a couple of days. The hot tub was a very welcome amenity. The horses were very friendly, although they did leave a mess all over the porch and yard. Hats off and a very much appreciated mention to the care taker who volunteered to come up and hose off the front porch so that our little yorkie didn’t get onto it. She literally cleaned up all of the horse manure out of the yard. Joe was very prompt in responding back to me with any questions we had, and several times. Thank you Joe! We would recommend the property to others.

Thank you, Doug. Glad you enjoyed the place. My apologies for the bed. It was a brand new mattress put in just before your arrival we have since put a foam topper on it to make it more comfortable. And sorry the horses left a mess for you. That’s why we give the option to keep the second gate closed so the horses won’t come up to the cabin.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cabin! The interior was so cozy and inviting, and outdoors was beautiful and peaceful (we also loved the horses!). Easy to get to NRG and we loved coming back to the hot tub in the evening. Thank you for a great stay!

This was a great stay for my family with teenagers. It was secluded in beautiful mountain country with things to do such as fishing, canoeing, and hiking. It is located just 15 minutes from a fantastic state park and 30 minutes from great white water rafting. Being pet friendly was a bonus for us. Our dog had a great time. It was the right fit for our family. Watching the wildlife from the hot tub or deck just makes everything so relaxing. It's good to know these kind of places still exist. If you like country living, this is the place for you.

The property was located in a beautiful, remote location. It was peaceful and serene. However, that is where the positives for the property end. The upstairs is open concept and unfortunately the cooktop does not have an exhaust fan/ vent and the whole upstairs smelled like old cooking grease and many surfaces had an oily film on them. I tried to turn on the window AC unit to air it out, but it instantly smelled musty and when I looked inside, I saw black mold. The grease smell was pervasive and we all experienced headaches/ discomfort at the odor. Due to the location and our arrival time, we made the decision to stay one night and informed the host that we would not be staying the second night that we had booked. He did give us a refund for about 1/3 of the total price paid though we were hoping for more. Ultimately, if the odor and mold had not been factors, we would have stayed but still found the property in need of attention. The cabin was very junky/ cluttered, filled with cleaning supplies and the owners personal affairs. The hot tub had leaves and sand in it despite having the cover on. We were hoping for a peaceful getaway, but instead it was a (literal) headache. I definitely would not recommend this property to other guests.

Definitely a scam artist we have a two tonight minimum they rolled in and made up a bunch of excuses not to stay the second night. Trying to be courteous I refunded one of the two nights they were supposed to stay. But that wasn’t good enough for them. I guess they wanted both nights free.

We had such a great time at the cabin with our old dog. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook, the cabin could not be cozier, the view from the deck is amazing, and overall the property is just beautiful. Joe was an amazing host and we cannot wait to book our next stay. If you need a place to relax and recharge- this is your next vacation spot

Loved the location! Perfect spot for exploring all the great parks in the area. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking! Kitchen well stocked, plenty of linens and loved the fireplace.
