Inside, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen—providing a restful retreat for up to four guests. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, as is the living room, so you can unwind with your favorite shows or movies after a day of exploring. The cabin also features a full bathroom, a cozy fireplace, and central heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfort in every season. Additionally, a propane wall heater in the bathroom adds an extra touch of warmth.

Loved our stay at this cabin! Everything is clean with a beautiful balcony and yard. So many amenities and personalized touches with the owner. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or extended stay. Would definitely recommend!

It’s clear the host really cares about the comfort of their guests. Apart from the good location and big fenced yard, there were lots of little niceties, like a coffee and tea station, stocked with loose tea from the local shop, hand and dish soap from another local shop, and a candle made by the owner to take as a gift. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and spices/condiments. The beds have heated blankets, and I enjoyed watching birds at the feeders right outside the bedroom window in the morning. Everything is clean and the furniture is nice and comfortable. The kitchen table expanded and there was a bench and two chairs to comfortable seat 4.I would definitely recommend this place, and I would stay there again.

What a wonderful little home away from home! We chose this house for the completely fenced-in yard. We were so pleasantly surprised by the little unexpected amenities like gourmet loose-leaf tea, welcome champagne and a homemade candle to take home. There are beautiful hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and bathroom; bedrooms both have comfortable carpeting. We stayed for 5 weeks... we have never stayed anywhere for that long and we would definitely stay here again. Margaret is an amazing communicator and we felt very comfortable.Perhaps our favorite little surprise was the adorbs dog next door, Bella, who daily tried to race our greyhound along the fence. :D10/10 recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

We chose Fern Valley for its perfect blend of nature and convenience—just minutes from hiking trails and downtown, yet peaceful and tucked away. The sunsets from the porch are absolutely stunning, and the quiet, walkable neighborhood has a calm, serene vibe that we truly love. Mornings start with birdsong, and if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the local wildlife—like the gray fox, a curious skunk, or even the occasional bobcat. It’s a little slice of mountain magic.

You’ll find hand-carved details throughout—from a bear and beehive sculpted into a tree, to the friendly bear that greets you at the steps, and a full-wall mural featuring a mosaic-style bear and blue jay, offering a beautiful, photo-worthy backdrop.

Inside, we’ve added warm, natural touches with custom live-edge pieces like the kitchen counter, coffee table, and fireplace mantle. And when it’s time to unwind, head to the backyard where you can relax in the hammock beneath the tall pine trees—perfect for an afternoon nap or stargazing at night. Every corner of the property is designed to invite comfort, creativity, and connection with nature.
