Downtown 3 BDRM Charming Casita

This downtown 3 bedroom charming casita has a unique western-vintage style and is conveniently located in the historic Cooper Park neighborhood in the heart of Bozeman. Take in the surrounding nature and parks within a 5-minute walk to downtown and a short drive to Bridger Bowl, Hyalite Canyon, the Madison River and many other outdoor recreation destinations. Cared for by a Superhost with more than 15 years hosting experience, you are sure to have the best stay possible.

Our charming Casita is the lower unit of large home (built in 1932!) located in the beautiful, historic neighborhood of Cooper Park. This private space includes 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room with a couch that converts into a futon bed, a gas fireplace, a full kitchen with amenities, a full bathroom and a large, fenced-in backyard. Guests will have access to parking in the driveway as well as free street parking. There are delicious downtown breakfast, lunch and coffee spots within a 2 minute walk as well as a laundromat. Beautiful Cooper Park and green spaces and nature trails are down the street.

Disclosure *PLEASE READ*: While you will have the entire downstairs basement unit of the house to yourself, other vacationers and their pets may be renting the separate upstairs unit in the house. The upstairs and downstairs units are separated by a dead-bolted door, and each unit has its own private entrance. Our yard space is shared by both the guests of the upstairs and downstairs units, which is a great way to get to know your fellow travelers!

You might hear your upstairs neighbors and their pets walking around on the floor above you. It's an old house and the walls and floors are not soundproof. We provide sleep sound machines in each bedroom so that you can get a good night's rest.

***Dogs are welcome. We require a nonrefundable pet fee that will be charged at the time of booking.

The house is professionally cleaned before and after each stay by staff who have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

Our home is an older home with stairs. It is unfortunately not equipped to facilitate those with special needs or wheelchairs.

Great place, clean close to airport

Everything was super convenient, clean, great coffee station and kitchen well stocked w/ pans, tools.

Bozeman Casita

We had a great stay!! The house was perfect and so comfortable for a trip with my girlfriends. It has easy access to walk downtown and overall was a perfect spot! Host is quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Great unit, great host, walkable to downtown

I usually just get hotel rooms but was traveling with my dog this time so I rented a VRBO to give her some extra space and a yard. The unit itself is great, clean, full kitchen, cool retro appliances. Erin was a great host, easy to communicate with and very hospitable. Highly recommend.

Place is fine. You pay for a cleaning fee and the owner has the audacity to leave an envelope asking for a tip for cleaning as well. That seems too greedy and ridiculous. Also it is very loud if anyone rents the floor above.

Hi Joe, Thanks for sharing your review. To clarify: the unit is clearly outlined as a basement space in the listing, and it is also stated in the listing, before guests book, that they may hear a bit of noise above them. This is why I provide sleep machines, which most guests seem to be very happy with. If you were hoping for zero noise, then perhaps a basement unit is not a great option for you. Regarding the envelope for tips, that was left by our stellar house-keeper, Shannon—not me—and she usually receives generous tips from guests who appreciate her excellent cleaning service and attention to detail. I do want to note that most guests love this place—our listing consistently receives five-star ratings across the board, so your comments are not the typical feedback we receive. At the end of the day, it seems this setup wasn’t the right match for what you. Best of luck with all your future travels. -Erin

Better floor insulation

The appearance was great and the owner super friendly, however, we got no sleep. The young guests above us came in at 2:00 and it sounded like a herd of elephants tromping around until the morning. Half our group left at 7:00 am due to inability to get any rest.

Read the fine print

It's in the basement, no view at all. Basic supplies scarce - like wine glasses - found out the previous people had the whole house- didn't know that was an option. They had moved the wine glasses upstairs. However, prior to us checking in, I would think these details would be checked. But if seeing the outside is of no concern to you, you'd like it.
