The Space
This home has over 1/2 acre with 100 ft of private frontage on the all-sports Lake Allegan; great for fishing, kayaking and so much more! Gorgeous views from the elevated back deck with outdoor dining and grill Fire pit area provides ample outdoor seating and lounging space.

The main level features a fully renovated and well stocked kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, living and dining room. Open concept with lake views from all common spaces and large sliding glass doors to the deck and a breeze/mud room to keep outdoor toys. The three bedrooms are generously sized. Two bedrooms are equipped with a king bed. The third bedroom is equipped with a twin/twin bunk bed and a twin/twin trundle bed. There is a large bathroom in the hall with soaker tub and separate shower.

The lower level is a walkout and features a large living room/game room with fireplace, unique doll house under the stairs for the little ones, three queen beds plus a full bathroom. The living room/game room has large windows that provide a lot of natural sunlight and views to the lake. The bedroom has a nightstand located next to each bed and does not have a closet. There is also a washer and dryer for guest use. Both bathroom toilet seats are equipped with bidet for guests comfort.

Located only 5 minutes from Downtown Historic Allegan and 2.5 hours from Chicago, this property is a perfect relaxing escape. You can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the lake from inside the home and the large deck. Head out to the dock with your fishing pole to cast a line or bring your own kayak to take advantage of the lake. Lake Allegan is perfect for all your fishing and kayaking adventures. *Owner is not responsible for any liability. The home is equipped with a propane powered electric power emergency generator, so guests will not be without power in summer and winter in case the above ground power lines are affected from a storm.

While there is plenty to keep you busy at the property, you may wish to explore the Historic Downtown Allegan and all it has to offer. There is a unique interactive water feature, shops, boutique clothing, coffee houses, dining, and grocery stores. The Allegan State Game Area also offers hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, horse trails, snowmobiling, shooting range and hunting. The nearby Lake Michigan beach towns of Fennville is only 25 minutes away, South Haven, Saugatuck and Holland are only 30 minutes away; you can view spectacular Lake Michigan sunsets all year round. Kalamazoo is also 30 minutes away; while Grand Rapids is 45 minutes. Don't forget about fresh blueberries in the summer, apple picking in the fall, and winter skiing/snowboarding at Bittersweet or Timber Ridge, both only 20 minutes away. There are fresh cheese creameries nearby in Fennville 19 minutes away, where families can enjoy a day of fun petting goats and tasting delicious cheese. Guests Access
Guests have access to the entire house other than the furnace/boiler room and garage. There is plenty of parking available in the driveway and in the adjacent empty lot of land (owned by us) which is great to park and get in and out of your snowmobile trailers. Lawn service and snow service may be performed during guest stays.

Check-In time is 4:00 pm EST. Early check-in is provided for an additional fee if available. We will notify the day before your stay if this is available. We do not offer late check-out. Our check-out time is strictly 10:00 am EST. A late check-out fee equal to 1 night stay will be assessed if property is not vacated by 10:00 am EST.
