We're glad to hear you enjoyed the many improvements at Las Palomas, including the renovated pool, updated gym, and refreshed landscaping. We also appreciate your suggestion about adding TV screens at the pool bar for major sporting events. Regarding the security deposit, we understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating. However, the refundable security deposit and the 3% credit card processing fee are both outlined in the lease agreement that is sent by email when the reservation is confirmed and must be acknowledged prior to check-in. Regarding the payment situation through Affirm and VRBO, we do want to kindly clarify that we did make several attempts to assist and requested additional information from your end in order to better understand and resolve the issue. We had also mentioned that we had supporting documentation regarding the payment process, however, the necessary information was not provided to us until you were finally able to speak directly with VRBO. At that point, VRBO confirmed the same information we had initially communicated regarding the payment. We sincerely apologize that the process felt stressful and confusing, as that is never the experience we want our guests to have. We also appreciate your comments regarding the mattress comfort, lack of mirrors, and charging areas in the unit.
