"Beachy Bungalow" cottage in Harbor Beach - Perfect getaway spot

The Harbor Beach sunrise is waiting for you at the Beachy Bungalow themed cottage. The one bedroom features a comfortable full bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. With heating and AC, you'll stay comfortable no matter the weather. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower, all linens and basic necessities including blow dryer. The open concept living room/kitchenette includes a mini fridge and microwave, utensils, dinnerware, dining table and chairs to pull out when needed, a full-size sofa bed for 1-2 extra guests, smart TV with WIFI (but who wants to watch tv when you have the abundance of nature and exploring at your doorstep) 
Outside you'll find a grill and plenty of covered outdoor seating for the whole family. Some of our favorite outdoor family games provided and board games for those rainy/indoor kinda days!

Harbor Beach has a lot to offer-You can enjoy a day on the beach a few miles down the road at Bathing Beach/Lincoln Park, grab some food at Ricks Weiner Dogs Concession stand and walk the pier. Be sure to check out the museum, ice cream shops and marina (seasonal Lighthouse Tours) Wagner Park, only 1/2 mile away is perfect for a walk on the trails or along the lake skipping stones and looking for beach glass. Check out a movie in our quaint theatre (open Thurs-Sun.)
When you're done exploring our beautiful area, sit around the firepit gazing at the spectacular night sky and countless stars and experience the soothing sounds of Lake Huron just across the street of this awesome retreat.

You really do have all you need for a relaxing getaway right here, but should you feel like exploring higher into the Thumb, Port Hope, Port Austin and Caseville are all within a 15-50 minute drive.
No pets allowed, Non-smoking property.
If you're looking for a comfortable cozy getaway, the Beachy Bungalow is for you.

Everything we needed. Very convenient. Though we brought our own grilling supplies (charcoal, fluid, etc.) it was a nice touch that some was already provided. Plenty of activities close to take advantage of. Would recommend.

The hospitality was excellent. Lisa was incredibly helpful with communication and offering suggestions for local activities. Although we wished pets were allowed, it was otherwise a very quiet and peaceful stay. We encountered a minor issue with the window air conditioner, but these things happen. We would certainly think about staying here again.

I sure wish you would have notified us of the issue with air conditioner "during" your stay, we're sorry you experienced that. We went over the day you left and it has been running fine ever since (of course right!) so not sure what happened while you were visiting. The bungalow was very clean. I have multiple allergies, and during our stay, I had no allergic reactions at all, which makes a trip so much more enjoyable. Although located off a highway, it is set back enough, and isolated enough to have a relaxing experience. Sitting around the firepit for a couple hours was so relaxing. The decor was very pleasant and it was a nice space to relax. The Host was great with communication before and during the visit, left suggestions for things to do, and provided some appreciated little extras. The Chill Zone gift card was much appreciated on a hot muggy day. We were provided with some firewood for the firepit, charcoal for the grill, s'more fixings, some snacks and water.

This bungalow was close to beach and town, cute, clean, expansive yard with bonfire pit and zip line in back. Browns grocery store nearby had all we needed and local restaurants were good. Would recommend.

Very clean and neat. Owners are very thoughtful and went out of their way to provide a great weekend away for us. The road is a little noisy but the lake is very close and there is a lot to do in the area.

Obviously we can’t control the traffic but with the awesome campgrounds, activities in the area people want to visit the thumb of MI :) it was very nice meeting you both and we truly hope to host you again sometime in the future! A fun getaway

Bright Fresh Clean Simple well thought out decor. Good snack tray. The fire pit & s'mores are a good feature. Having a covered deck area expands usable space.

Perfect peaceful getaway!

Lisa was a fantastic host and responded right away to any questions I had. She even has a special gift for my girlfriend's birthday when we arrived. The tiny house/cottage was brand new condition, very clean and fully stocked. Check in and out was a breeze. There are so many beaches within a few miles either way which we explored. Definitely will return.

The cottage is in close proximity to Harbor Beach, but away enough to give you peace and relaxation surrounded by nature. Everything was super clean and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. Little details matter and made all the difference (charcoal for the grill, wood for the fire, smore supplies) and also indoor and outdoor games, as well as a Zipline in the backyard. Excellent communication with the host! Highly recommend.

We are from the Macomb and then Genesee County area but are full time "thumb-ers" as of 2020! We love getting out on the water, spending time with family and friends, enjoying the peace and nature of the thumb and friendly people. We love being able to offer a small part of all that the thumb has to offer to our guests!!!

We love the beach, walking the pier/marina in town and listening to nature and the waves. The people are friendly and if you have kids traveling with you, they will love the farm animals which can be seen from afar on the adjacent property.

We offer two cottages, sleeping max of 4 people each if you want to come with other family/friends. Rent one or both-Beachy Bungalow and Backwoods Beach Bungalow!
