While we don’t provide paper towels, we do supply reusable kitchen towels for cleaning. ⚠️ Please read this review before renting your property to this guest The reservation was for 2 people, but around 11:30 p.m., 4 more arrived — a total of 6 guests with bottles of liquor, starting a party. My listing clearly says no parties or extra guests, but they ignored my messages. Around 12:30 a.m. they left, then returned at 3:30 a.m. making loud noise and arguing outside. I first called Vrbo, and they advised me to contact the police, which I did. The police came, told them to leave, and warned them about trespassing. Later, one guest came back, and I personally asked them to leave again. The next night, I heard hammering noises around 9:30 p.m. — when they realized I was home, they stopped. It was extremely stressful. The next morning, I told the guest I hoped there was no damage and said, “Thank God you’re leaving today,” because it had been one of my worst experiences as a host. I’ve sent all evidence and messages to Vrbo. Future hosts, please be cautious before accepting this guest.

Thank you for your feedback. For clarification, the pool is seasonal and closes in September, which explains why it was not in use during your stay. After this reservation, I did need to make some bathroom repairs, which was disappointing. My decision not to host again is based only on the condition in which the property was left, and not on any personal matters. Also, for transparency, we have security cameras on the exterior of the property. These are for safety purposes only and to help our guests feel more secure during their stay.

Would not host again. In all my time hosting, I have never had a guest request items such as facial towels or toothpaste, nor are these standard amenities in most rentals. These items are not included in the listing. I kindly encourage all future guests to carefully review the listing details prior to booking to ensure expectations are aligned and to avoid any misunderstandings.
