This property is in an outstanding location. We had a great stay there. Steps to beach, shops, restaurants, activities, etc; Unit is very good size and well maintained. We didnt cook at all, so not sure of how it is to use the kitchen, but it looked great. Communication with host was responded to very quickly and they were flexible for us with the check in and check out times.

Amazing Property

With just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants this was one of the nicer places we have stayed using VRBO.

Amazing place

I really enjoyed my stay at your place I thought it was really nice and I liked how close it was to Alki beach plus the view of the space needle from the top , I would definitely recommend it to somebody!

Perfect location for overnight stay after flight and before ferry

This home was a 20 min. drive from the airport and only 20 min. drive the next morning to the ferry terminal for car ferry to Bremerton. We walked a few blocks to Alki Beach, stretched our legs along the boardwalk, and enjoyed a lovely meal at Lotus on the Beach. It was too bad our itinerary didn't allow us to stay longer. Thanks for making our entry into the Pacific NW so enjoyable.

Great apartment that suited our needs well

The apt was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs; may be challenging for those who aren't able to manage stairs. There's a lovely roof top patio with table, chairs, and a grill. Lovely view from up there. The beds were comfortable and common areas well furnished. I woulud definitely recommend this unit for your stay. This would have been a decent rental if it was cleaned. Instead, we walked into a property that looked like someone abandoned cleaning halfway through.We found a peeled onion on the counter, unswept/unmopped floors, food-smeared appliances, a dishwasher full of dirty dishes, a used sponge, and damp bathroom towels. Later, we found dirty utensils, food residue on knives shoved in the knife block, a filthy microwave, a stained tablecloth, empty ant baits, and a coffee cup left on the top deck from a prior guest.The kitchen isn’t fully equipped. A cooktop knob is missing, there are no sheet pans or mixer, and no basic cleaning supplies (not even paper towels) were provided. We had to coordinate with the host just to get supplies to make the kitchen usable.When confronted, the host refunded the cleaning fee (weirdly not asking for photos to share with her cleaner) but dug her heels in on the nightly rate. I asked for just 1/3 off the first night for us spending time cleaning, but she refused. She dismissed the filth as just missed cleaning items and said that my personal standard of cleaning is different.Leaving residue on surfaces, empty ant traps, and food-crusted knives isn't a difference in standards; it’s a total lack of hygiene. The rental was very average otherwise in terms of inexpensive furniture, decor, etc. and had good proximity to the waterfront.

Alki getaway

(): host is responsive, property is gorgeous, electronic charging stations everywhere, in the bedrooms and the living room, okenty of closet space in each room, even better than the pictures, more spacious area than the pictures, rooftop awesome to watch the sunset or the stars, location very close to beach and restaurants, perfect place to stay if you don’t mind driving into the city (easy access), yet staying away from most traffic.(-): BBQ set for cooking available, no lighter to start the grill, unsure to this fay if it works. One of the pillows in the rooms did not get the pillows washed, could smell hair oil. Soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner dispensers were not filled, shower curtain downstairs smelled like it hadn’t been washed in a long time with pink stains/growth at the bottom of the curtain, nespresso machine was not descaled.Scored the place overall very well, because it served the purpose for what we needed. Nice place to stay, for rest after a full day of activity.

Alki Beach is one of my favorite places in Seattle, and I’m thrilled to share it with my guests. The area offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and city vibes. You’ll love the stunning views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, as well as the peaceful sound of the waves. It's the ideal spot for a morning walk, bike ride, or just relaxing on the beach with a good book.

The neighborhood is vibrant and full of life, with amazing local cafes, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. One of my favorite things to do is grab a coffee and take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. You’ll also find plenty of parks, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can rent kayaks or paddleboards to explore the water.
