Had a great stay here. Everything from beginning to end was seamless. The house was as advertised, clean and instructions were very well detailed. Would definitely recommend and book again.

We had such a lovely stay. The property owners are really on top of communication and made check in a breeze despite the property being in a gated community! The property was so cozy and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. Thanks so much for a great stay!

I could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Bushkill, PA. I'm a single mom with 2 teens. We had activities planned everyday but decided to spend a day just relaxing and enjoying the house. We built puzzles, read and watched vintage episodes The Price is Right. There was plenty of space in the sun room for yoga and deck space made me felt like I was in a tree house. It was a perfect place for us to unplug from our daily routines and I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this house. First of all, we made some last minute changes to the reservations and the hosts couldn't have been nicer or more flexible about making those changes for us. The house itself was immaculate with very comfortable furniture, high ceilings, lots of games and just very pleasant and comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that the enclosed porch is smaller than I thought it would be. My kids enjoyed running around in the woods behind the house. Other than that there isn't much outdoor space besides the porch so keep that in mind. But it's a nice house, centrally located, nice ammenities, cozy and comfortable.

All Inclusive Stay!

Charming property with the best hosts! It was so easy to communicate with Graham and Krista throughout our stay. Loved that everything was labeled in the house. There was more than enough room for my family of six. The kids enjoyed the community pool and pickleball courts. Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We frequently stay at vrbo homes as a family of 5 and typically search for rentals that are an experience on their own. Every time we stay, we try to find a listing that will provide a new experience and feel immersive. This retro chalet fit the vibe check. It was a cool, funky, 70s cabin that felt authentic. We enjoyed playing with the nostalgic board games and relaxing on the deck. My kids aged 4-8 loved it as well and found the loft to be a fun and unique feature. The beds were also incredibly comfortable - maybe the most comfortable we've had at a vrbo property. The owners also provided an in depth guide for the area, which was great and much appreciated. This is a solid rental especially if you're looking to visit bushkill falls and spend time relaxing in the home.

An amazing property for our family of 4 adults! Plenty of room to gather and yet have our own spaces. Host communication was exceptional. Having kitchen cookware in excellent condition and loads of hangers in the bedroom closets are indeed rarities with VRBO rentals, and this home excelled in those areas. Small touches, but really appreciated. We would highly recommend a visit to the Frank Frazetta Art Museum, even if you are not familiar with his work, and the Sango Kura Sake Distillery and Restaurant. Under-rated gems of the area.

Hopskip was clean, comfortable and exactly as expected

From the welcoming sunroom (perfect for an afternoon nap) to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area, to the extremely comfortable beds, this retro chalet was exactly as expected. This unit easily sleeps 8 and provides enough kitchen items for the same. There is one bedroom and a full bathroom downstairs, and two bedrooms, a loft (with two twin beds) and another full bathroom upstairs. The deck is nice and the grill is very convenient - easy to use. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer/dryer combo unit that cleans and dries well. Hot water seemed to be instantly available. The property is surrounded by trees. Neighborhood is quiet and provides for great exercise hiking the streets. Access to the neighborhood was easier than I expected - just needed to provide the address and show my ID (host had added me to a Visitor list). The host communicated with us prior to and throughout the stay. We highly recommend the Hopskip Retro Chalet for a short or an extended stay.

The Hopskip Retro Chalet was a great place to spend Labor Day weekend. We had my wife and I, our 33 year old daughter, and our 35 year old daughter, her husband and our 2 1/2 year old grandson. The place fit us perfectly. We could relax, each have our private place and have our together time, all in this nice place. We used the outside fire table at night. We would definately come back to this haven in the Poconos.
