We had a wonderful stay! Snowater complex is the best location for accessing Mt Baker. The place was well furnished and supplied, very quiet, and surrounded by trees, with restaurants and groceries nearby.

Everything was pretty good. Such a lovely location. My only problem was the neighbor next-door in unit number 101, had the radio playing or stereo or whatever it was 24 seven. It would be nice if they turn it off at nine or 10 o’clock and then turn it back on at seven or 8 AM but nope, 24 seven. It was very irritating.

We enjoyed the SnoWater park that condo was a part of. We did not realize the pool would be so nice. Overall, a great stay!

The perfect place to stage for hiking around Mt. Baker

We stayed just one evening to stage for hiking around Mt. Baker-- the property was perfect. We were able to cook a lovely dinner, the swimming pool and hot tub were a huge bonus, and we were able to get a fantastic early start. Thanks so much for the wonderful place to stay!

The Snowater is a large, multi building, multi unit complex with gravel walking paths, a mountain river, club house with pool, tennis courts, and playgrounds all nestled among tall conifers so that you feel as though you are in the woods, rather than a sprawling manicured development. This condo is located in the first building on the left after you go through the entrance barrier (we drove right past it when we arrived--the blue sign with the building name and numbers sits back and up the stairs, not easily visible from the road as you enter). There is a set of steps up to the building from the small parking area, then four steps going down to the door of the condo (left side). The bedroom is on the immediate left, bath, the kitchen a little further along on the left, then 2 steps down to the living area. It's a very comfortable space and the small balcony off the living room is a nice place to sit and watch for Stellar's Jays, though the maintenance area is visible off to the right. The bed was very comfortable, the towels soft and the shower hot and forceful. The toilet area is quite tight. The beautiful fireplace looked like it was useable though some instructions on its use would have been helpful. The kitchen had a French press and a Melita single serve cone holder as well as a bag of coffee. We did not cook the two days we were there, but ate dinner at Chair 9 restaurant (very tasty pizza & burgers) where you pick up the key fob from a lock box. We would stay again!

The place was great but the Internet was down the whole time. The last time we stayed it worked fine. On a brighter note, the community rec room has Wi-Fi that works so if you don’t object to taking your iPad or laptop, there, you could be OK.

We had a little difficulty, actually locating the unit because we arrived well after dark. we weren’t quite sure where to park to be closest to our unit and had a little trouble finding it in the dark. Perhaps suggesting guest spring flashlight might be helpful. I love that the hose had extra pillow pillows and pillowcases for us to use. We always sleep with more than one pillow each.

Cozy, cozy LR

What we loved: We really enjoyed the common space LR. It was nicely decorated and cozy & the fireplace was just amazing - 10 stars. What could be improved: The stove could use an update and the bath is super tight with water pressure issues. Also, it was impossible to use the TV due to poor internet & WiFi Location: It is a bottom unit and you actually descend to the front door. The only view is of the facility plant for the community.

Overall it was a good place to 'crash' after hiking all day near Mt. Baker. Although the condo was cute, I would not choose if any cooking or long stay was needed. The microwave did not open fully due to being installed so close to the wall. The stove had a large crack running through the cooktop which would have prevented us from using it for safety reasons. The bathroom was very small and tight as the toilet was so close to the tub on one side and so close to the wall on the other that the toilet paper/holder did not allow sitting upright while 'doing business'. That being said, the condo was a nice, cheap place to crash if you don't mind the minor inconveniences and are not picky.

The instructions to obtain the extra key and FOB were confusing and, unlike the other units around it, this unit did not have an address plate above the door so it was difficult to locate in the dark. The electronic pin did not work to open the door and the instructions to manually unlock/lock the deadbolt were contained in the departure instructions, rather than the welcome instructions. As a result, we began the stay feeling pretty frustrated with the situation. I'd recommend that the host revise the instructions for clarity.That said, the unit is cute and ideally located for those who want to visit the Mt. Baker area. The resort's hiking path along the river is delightful. The wifi worked just fine for us. Couch and bed were comfy, but fitting 4 adults into this unit is a stretch.

Absolutely perfect!! Quiet and cozy. Nice and close to both clubhouses with pool and jacuzzi. Felt private and had everything you could want and need. Lovely dishes. The fireplace is cozy and burns a good solid fire. Blankets, rocking chair and great cushions for the balcony that also was cozy and private. The lighting was very nice. Good choices to have bright and be able to dim them as well. Comfortable queen bed in the bedroom. Excellent communication with host. Thank you!!

We spent the long weekend visiting Glacier, WA and Artist Point. The place was exactly what we were looking for. We love the cabin feel and the rec area amenities including a pool. This was wonderful as we traveled with our daughter. The place helped with making such wonderful memories! Thank you!
