Great locatiton, very good space, clean & well stocked, easy communication with host, very comfortable. Easy parking on the street. We were very happy with our weekend & plan to stay there again.

My wife and I had a terrific stay at the Halestone Cottage. The facility was clean and its location in Lexington was ideal. We would recommend it highly to any couple visiting the area.

My second visit to Halestone. It's the perfect place being walkable to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. I would spend my entire summer there if I could. Whenever I get back to Lexington this is the only place I want to stay

Fantastic location

The cottage was very comfortable and the check in and check out process was very easy. It was also super clean and air conditioned.

Amazing

The property was just as advertised. It’s downtown in walking distance to some great restaurants and coffee shops. The unit was really clean and the construction is first class. We would highly recommend staying there!

For those who want the convenience of walking around the downtown area, this is a great location. The space was clean, bright, easy to find, and secluded enough for privacy. The small outdoor deck was a quiet spot for morning coffee and news browsing. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had some bonus snack items. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was bright and convenient with a walk-in shower and bathing supplies. This was a perfect spot for two people and we would definitely stay there again.

Perfection!

So charming and comfortable, this cottage provides absolutely everything one might need. Serene, uncluttered, well designed space…plus walkable to shoppes, great restaurants, church. Every aspect was well planned and thoughtful. Communication was super prompt, friendly and clear. We will absolutely book this again next time we visit Lexington. Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic property. Perfectly setup for 2 adults to work remotely, one in the front room and the other at the kitchen counter. Property seemed new/fresh. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is super convenient to walk to restaurants/shops. Only difficulty is the parking. There is no dedicated parking for this property. You have to rely on public parking which requires moving your vehicle every day between a lot that allows daytime parking and the street that allows overnight parking.

Cottage is as advertised plus more. Location was smack in the of attractions and restaurants. When asking questions the reply is quick. Cottage was clean and fully stocked. This was our first VRBO where coffee, sugar and cream was supplied so it was one less thing to pack for our trip. Bed was comfortable with enough blankets to bake under (we had to remove one of the comforter). If you forget any toiletries dont worry they have a basket of commonly used items. They think of everything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Businesses were all friendly and they remembered you if you returned. Visitor center was just around the corner and very knowledgeable on getting around town to see the sights and eateries. We had a awesome time visiting Lexington

This property gets a 10/10 from me and the wife. It is perfect for 2 adults on a short or long stay in the city of Lexington. The Property was immaculately clean and super accessible. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. It is small and cozy but certainly not cramped by any means. The amenities are great and the bath and kitchen area are well stocked with everything you need if you did not bring it. The location is very convenient to walk to restaurants/shops. There is no dedicated parking for this property. If you come during the week, you can park on the street across from the property at night but must use some of the very close Public Parking during the day as the spaces on the street are 2-hour parking between 6am and 6pm. However, after 6pm, you can park on the street. On weekends, the street is fair game 24/7. We stayed 5 days spanning both weekdays and a weekend and parking was really not that big of a deal. The Property is quiet and the back deck was super for dining or just enjoying the cool spring evenings. A great stay and is certainly a Property I will seek out again when in Lexington. The host was super and very accessible. Any questions were answered in a very timely manner, politely and professionally.

This is definitely a good place to stay. The location can't be beat for downtown Lexington and the cottage is charming and appears to have been recently updated. It was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to just walk out the door and be within minutes of stores and restaurants. Our biggest issue involved noise from the fraternity across the yard from this property. Maybe it was just our bad luck, but loud music was played until nearly midnight for both nights of our stay -- a Monday and a Tuesday. Obviously, the owners can't do anything about that but if you are particularly noise sensitive, it could be an issue. Otherwise, this property is excellent.

Very nice and comfortable place near downtown, W&L or VMI. The decor was tasteful. Modern kitchen and bathroom. My only complaint: the foldout couch was not comfortable ( they never are ). It’s a great place for a couple visiting kid at school or getaway spot.
