Placeret på Chincoteague Bay denne villa er fuldt udstyret fra køkkenet til sengetøj hver tanke er givet for et behageligt ophold. Med vand foran pool og motionsrum på stedet eller bare læne dig tilbage og slappe af på den store balkon. Villaen og Chincoteague er indbydende til alle aldre. Main Street ligger inden for gåafstand med søde butikker, kunstgallerier og gode restauranter. Byen dateres tilbage til 1600-tallet med masser af historie i forskellige museer. Børn elsker putt - putt golf, go carts og vand både i byen. Ridning cykler er en yndlingsbeskæftigelse. En anden form for transport rider vognen rundt i byen. En 10 minutters kørsel vil tage dig til Assateague Island, hvor de berømte ponyer bor og det historiske fyrtårn er placeret. Der er mange cykel-og vandrestier perfekt til fugleture. Museerne og det fantastiske Atlanterhavet er der for at nyde! Chincoteague og Assateague Øer kåret til den bedste strand byen ved AOL i 2010! Kom og bo i vores villa og nyde dit hjem væk fra hjemmet.

Dette er en tre soveværelser, to badeværelser, vand foran condo, med udsigt over Chincoteague Bay og marina. Faciliteter inkluderer; Central A / C, W / D, mikrobølgeovn, 3 tv, dvd'er, strand stole, badehåndklæder, hårtørrer, strygejern og strygebrat, stor havnefront balkon, WiFi, fuldt udstyret køkken, stort spisebord og ekstra plads til at fodre en stor menneskemængde. Absolutely heavenly

We really enjoyed the condo and the location. It was a beautiful view and the condo was extremely clean! We had a handicapped person in our party and the property is extremely handicapped friendly. The condo could use some handicap upgrades such as higher toilets and some bars by the toilets. The pool was EXTREMELY dirty and we were not comfortable being in it so some of us headed to the beach.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size and location of this condo was wonderful. It was homey, comfortable and well stocked for 6 people. Unfortunately the attention to cleanliness left a lot to be desired. And with a Sunday to Sunday it was difficult to get someone to assist. We did get some help the next day and all cleaning we didn’t do ourselves was finished up. Additionally, we had a consistent issue with the fire alarm going off almost every time we used the stove. They tried to explain it was a wiring issue which of course did not give us a level of comfort, but thankfully nothing major occurred. Also the mosquitoes were particularly on attack at all times. This unit has so much potential if it was properly attended to and truly cleaned between each visit. We had a great time none the less. Just had to roll our own sleeves up and make it our temporary home.

Hello, We have been working on upgrades for the upcoming season. New sleeper sofa, new mattresses, a Larger Smart TV in the living room as well as updating some of the rugs and fresh linens for the 2026 season. All the smoke detectors have now been replaced.

Nice spacious condo

As everyone else comments, the constant noise from the Coast Guard Station is annoying, but once you're inside it's not an issue. Even sitting on the balcony it wasn't a problem. The condo needs a few small fix ups, I can't believe someone wouldn't get these fixed immediately if they're renting it out. No toilet paper upon arrival, toilet paper holder ripped off the wall, no curtain in main bedroom, hole in the drywall behind front door, ice maker didn't work. All that would take about 4 hours to fix. Small things but... Walking to Ropewalk is a definite plus. We'd go back again.

Best Week of the Summer at Chinco Getaway on the Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am really glad I picked this house to rent. It was an absolutely beautiful place and we had by the far the best week at the beach. A couple of things that stand out:Location- on the water- the deck/porch makes it perfect for mornings and nights..and its location only gets really direct sun for about an hourSize- The condo is the perfect size for 6 people. You never feel like you are on top of anyone else. The dining room table is amazing and the furniture on the porch is perfect.Amenities- There is nothing missing from this condo. The owner provides everything necessary for a perfect week.Now for the negatives:I really think the company should let everyone know that is interested in the property about the loud noise from the sewage (which we read is not from the coast guard). After a couple of days, it definitely wasn't as loud, but I needed ear plugs at night. It is on all the time.The mattresses really really really need replaced. They have definitely seen their use but are terribly uncomfortable now. I also think you could really utilize the space in the master bedroom better than having 2 double beds. Bunks might be a good option for the room with the twin beds. But above all things, replace the mattresses. (If you are staying there and they haven't been replaced- maybe bring a mattress pad.)Vacuum does not pick anything up. There are two but neither really worked well.Overall, this was one of the best places we stayed at. A better night's sleep would have made it the best.

Get-Away on the Bay

It is always very clean when we enter . Harbour Rentals are always responsive to any issues we may have had. The unit could use some updating . The master bedroom is the main issue. There are two double beds and the mattresses have no support. They have never been replaced since we have been staying there. The bedroom could easily fit two queen or one king size bed .We stay in that unit every year because the size of the condo works for our family. It has a large dining table and three barstools. It is in a great location -one door down from the elevator . That is a big plus when you’re moving in and out .

The location on the second floor near the elevator is a plus for moving in and moving out. There is also a nice corner balcony ( with a tables and plenty of chairs ). This condo is furnished with plenty of seating. One of the main reasons I choose this particular condo is the large sturdy dining table with 8 chairs.Although this condo is appealing there is always room for improvement. The master bedroom has two double bed that have been in need of new mattresses for the past five years. There is very loud humming in the back bedrooms from the Coast Guard Station next door. The stove front two burners were not working. There have been different minor problems in the past but Harbour Rentals have someone over to take care of the issues quickly.

Reviewer Comments: Let’s start with the good: Sunset Bay is a great newer condo complex right outside of darling, historic downtown. The pool is very nice and we really enjoyed it! HOWEVER, this unit is right next to the Coast Guard station with a sewer grinder that is LOUD and runs 24/7. You can hear it SO LOUDLY in 2 of the front bedrooms. The mattresses in all bedrooms are awful and uncomfortable. I knew the bed sizes weren’t optimal and thought we’d make it work but they really need a KING in the master! The condo is very worn. The Berber carpet is dirty and old as is the family room furniture. We couldn’t believe there was NO BLENDER in the kitchen. Who has a beach place without the ability to make frozen blender drinks? My husband drove 25 min to BUY a blender! It was our first vacation at Chincoteague Island and we loved it and especially loved the pristine beach at Assateague, where we saw wild ponies everyday driving in to the beach. It’s only 10 min from the condo. Oh, and instructions about the beach gear closet outside the condo would’ve been helpful.

Better than expected

We assumed the condo would be small and we would all be on top of each other (which we were ok with, because we're family:)) however when we walked in- there were two separate sections to the unit for our families- one room with its own bathroom to the left, and two bedrooms sharing a second bathroom to the right. Plenty of room for our family! The condo is clearly loved and a little "worn in" but was great for our week away. There were a few things that needed to be fixed- one of the bed frames was broken and one of the closet doors was off the track- but otherwise we really liked the condo overall. Property Management super easy to work with- only additional item that always bugs me is having to pay a fee to pay with a credit card. This is how most people pay in today's world- it makes it so much easier!

Comfortable family getaway

Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay in Chincoteague with our kids, my brother, and my mother. This condo was true to the photos and description, with a great view and comfortable layout for doing the things we like to do when home: retreating for a nap/reading, playing family games, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking together, watching a movie together. Though not spotless, the condo was clean. And with signs of being well-lived in, it was definitely pleasant and livable. We did have some challenges getting the temperature agreeable for everyone, as the back 2 bedrooms were warmer than the main living area and master suite. Very convenient location. We walked to a few places on main street, but mostly opted to drive (short drive to everything, easy parking). We enjoyed the beach/visitor center (Toms Cove), Amarin pastries, Mister Whippys soft serve, food/trucks (Better, Taco Pico, Woodys, BYOC), renting scooters, and shopping (especially Flying Fish and the jewelry and wine shop across the street).

The appliances and counters were dirty, so were the sinks and showers. Even our 14 year old daughter commented that it was not clean. We had to spend time cleaning on our vacation. That was disappointing

Richmond family Great Trip

Our family loved staying in this condo and loved being in Chincoteague - the condo has everything you could need and has a wonderful balcony and view. It was very clean and all the furnishings are new and it's beautifully decorated. The location is perfect for walking to a lot of the cute restaurants and shops in town - we loved riding bikes everywhere. And loved taking a pontoon cruise around the island and seeing all the wildlife. What a great family town and relaxing getaway!

Great Family Vacation!!

Our family of 4, plus another family of 4 stayed in this comfortable and well equipped condo. The place has everything!! And you can tell the owner furnished this rental with all new furniture and bedding - very lush. We went in April and rented bikes, including child seats/buggy and rode all over the bike paths of Assiteague. Then we stopped and explored the beach, threw the frisbee, etc. It was adventurous and fun and our kids loved it! Chincoteaque has alot of great restaurants and stop-in spots in town. The town is well preserved and its architecture gives you the sense of being transported back to the 1950s. Definitely hit Ricks Seafood if you go, he has the most amazing rose garden with over 200 bushes. We'll definitely be visiting again.
