We visited to tour and taste wine country and found Summerland was ideally located for visiting Kelowna, an hour north, and Penticton/Naramata, a half hour south. The city is small and not busy, with a nice lakefront for walking or the beach. There are numerous wineries here too, to add to the Namarata wineries. This studio was very comfortable, in a quiet residential neighborhood, and located on a bluff overlooking the lake and Naramata Bench. The studio is well furnished and very private even though the lower unit of the host's home, AC worked perfectly even on days above 30C, and cooled the unit within minutes of returning home each evening. The hot tub was very enjoyable and quick to heat from 100F to 104F when we wanted it. The driveway is a bit steep, and the guest parking on the right of the driveway is sufficient but not spacious, so takes a bit of care when parking. But this was a minor issue and did not diminish or impede our stay. We had a lovely stay here for a full week and would happily return again to enjoy the comfort and quiet here, with expansive views over Lake Okanagan, from Peachland to Pentiction.
