Spend your summer vacation with friends and family at Whitetail Cove! This 2-level home has plenty of space for large groups, sleeping 20!

The main level features a large living room with a sectional, chair, and TV to catch a game. Adjacent to the living room is the formal dining room with a large farm table seating 12 with two large benches! All guests will enjoy the large, fully stocked kitchen to prep all your group meals. If you need to feed the kiddos while cooking, there is a table in the kitchen seating 6.

Off the kitchen is one of two sun rooms with a bistro table for 4 and a couch. This is the perfect location for your morning joe or evening adult beverage.

There is one bedroom on the main level. The primary ensuite features a king bed. The sunroom is off the primary and has chairs, a love seat, and a bistro table for two, overlooking the pool and lake!

The office has a pull-out queen sofa that sleeps two more. A half bath and laundry room round out the main level.

The lower level features 5 bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms and a second kitchen, bar & rec room. There are plenty of options for fun or relaxation on the lower level. The bar/pub room is perfect for evening activities since it's right off the pool deck. This space has seating for 4 at the bar with a high top table featuring an additional 4 seats, all with great views of the TV. The second kitchen is perfect for prepping meals to eat outside - a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and a tall table with 8 seats.

The rec room has three different areas for entertainment: the pool table with a ping-pong topper, foosball, and a card table. In the middle are two couches, and the third area has a large Lazy Boy couch with a TV. All areas are great for your whole group, with plenty of space to spread out!

In the five bedrooms on the lower level, we are first greeted with a bunk room. The bunk room has two twin over full bunk beds, a half bath, and a laundry room. The remaining rooms are all en suites. There is a queen bedroom, a bedroom with two queen beds, and a king suite. One last bedroom, the lower level primary, features a king with a twin daybed and trundle sleeping four.

The house is fully stocked and ready for your group of 20 to sleep comfortably, but we have saved the best for last—outside. The large dock with a swimming platform and spacious seating area is a great way to spend the day. Oh, wait...maybe the brand new pool is where you want to be while they are boating on the lake or biking along the trails of Lake Norman State Park, which is right down the street!

Home Truths:
- Fireplaces are not available for guest use.
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee of $250 per day, but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Pool heat requires a 2-day minimum. Pool heat is available from October 1 – May 30.
- Please note: If overnight temperatures drop below 55°F, the pool may not heat properly or maintain temperature, as the equipment may be affected.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

Parking Details:
- 6 cars can be parked in the circular driveway.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
