Our penthouse staycation at Waikiki Beach Tower was outstanding! We booked this for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect—she and her three friends had a blast, and I still had my own space to relax. Location is amazing (literally steps from the beach), and the room was super spacious. The view was breathtaking—even in the rain. Shantel was so responsive and helpful throughout, and the valet and bell desk team were incredibly kind and accommodating. Just an easy, special stay all around. Would absolutely do it again.

It is a great property. The view is fabulous. I will choose it again if the check in could be easier and check out time could be later than 10 am.

Mahalo for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. It is an incredible view. Check-in is generally seamless, apologies for any misunderstanding by the valet who somehow had a delay in receiving your reservation which is not the usual experience, though it was sorted quickly. As for check-out, that is the time that was agreed on the listing as cleaners generally need the time to clean this large suite thoroughly. However, you did have the opportunity to get a temporary key and enjoy the 4th floor amenities after checking out of the suite. Safe travels.

Stunning views and unit. Perfect size for 5 adults. We loved hanging out in the patio. Also really appreciated the concierge bbq service in the building. Valet staff were always friendly and fast. Highly recommend

Vacay of Lifetime

Stayed with my grown children and two grandsons. Loved the view. Plenty of spacious rooms. One review said it was smaller than expected so I was holding my breath. We felt it was quite soacious. Location is the best of many of my visits to Oahu.

Wonderful vacation

The condo was just like the pictures, very clean and recently updated. The ocean views are breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this property as a getaway. The valet staff are helpful and courteous. The property manager was a life saver and got us back into the property after checking out to retrieve my daughter’s wedding ring and other rings she left in the room!!! Highly recommend, didn’t want to leave!!

Great location, okay apartment

Loved the location. Check-in process was smooth. The apartment is a lot smaller than photos and price lead you to believe. Air conditioning did not reach the bedrooms well at all even when the common areas were at 68 degrees.

Aloha. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with the location and check in. This is a large penthouse suite, and priced competitively with the hotel building directly. As for the AC, given it is a large suite, there is the AC in the living room and there is a separate AC in the master bedroom, so the bedroom area does have AC. At least you know for next time in case you forgot about that or your son did not show you as the property manager showed that AC to your son. Safe travels.

Amazing view of Waikiki and the bay

We were a group of 7 and we thought the unit had plenty of space (with 2 using the Murphy bed in the common area). Furnishings were tasteful (all as pictured) and the beds comfortable. The highlight was of course the view , especially from the lanai and the living room. It met and maybe exceeded expectations! Service at the entrance was excellent. We are not ones to choose valet parking, but the staff made it convenient and they were very friendly.

Penthouse has an incredible view on the top floor overlooking the pool/hot tub on the fourth floor. The penthouse is well equipped for snacks and meals between dishes, cups, and cookware. The host provides Tide pods for the laundry and has blocked off the tray to use your own laundry soap. The host also provides pods to run the dishwasher. Additionally, there were welcome amenities provided: 3 packs of Hawaiian coffee, three bags of microwave popcorn, a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts, and beverages in the refrigerator; my family greatly appreciated the surprise snacks and drinks. There were enough towels for our group of five adults for both showering and pool/beach use. We used the Murphy bed and found the mattress to be thick and firm with some foam give at the top. Our older adults opted out of using the second bedroom with the double beds as they found them low to the ground. The valet service was fabulous. They retrieved our rental car quickly each time we needed it and were always willing to load or unload our vehicle. We tipped each time they delivered the vehicle. Valet is available 24/7, which worked well as we left at 4:30 am for our flight out. The host provides two key fobs that are required to take the elevator up to the room or to the pool. For our group of five adults, having three key fobs would have been helpful as the adults often grouped in pairs with someone choosing their own adventure. The valet helped gain access, though.

We merely require whichever detergent used to be placed directly in the drum and not in the tray to avoid tray blockage with pods. The property was nice but not worth the added expense of "penthouse" prices. Besides being a longer elevator ride there was not much difference. We also paid essentially the price of an additional night to get early check in and due to a family emergency we didn't get into the room until 2 hours after the agreed upon time with no offer to compensate us. When asked for the 2 additional hours at the end, the allowed us to stay only 1.

Aloha. We appreciate your feedback as we want to ensure a great guest experience. In terms of the value of the penthouse vs other suites, we would like to note features of the penthouse suite, among the most custom upgraded in the building with incredible panoramic mountain and direct oceanfront views. It has 10 foot ceilings in the living room. Special insulated windows were also installed in the bedrooms with the spectacular direct ocean and mountain views. The height helps makes the view more spectacular and panoramic, and you can see the fireworks on Friday nights from this suite. These are just some of the extra features of the penthouse on top of all the other wonderful features included. We are also competitive to other penthouse in the building. However, we understand everyone has different perspectives on value. We also want to deeply apologize once again for the delay in one of your check-ins (as you did come to stay in the penthouse twice, with the second check in time being unfortunately delayed). As you were informed, the delay was due to a family medical emergency that morning. We responded a little over an hour later to your message that the door code was not working, and got it reset in minutes, by about 9:30 AM . As for late check-out, we would have loved to accommodate a 2 hour late check out but the schedule that day unfortunately did not permit a full 2 hour extension, though we were able to provide an hour extra. Overall this place does match its description. The view from the outdoor seating area (the "Lanai") is stunning. The apartment is not large, but big enough, and in top-top condition. Everything is new, appliances are upgraded, and the kitchen is equipped with all you need. The owners thoughtfully include a complete set of equipment for the beach (which is directly across the street).Be aware that the bedroom air conditioning is very noisy when it runs. We got used to it, but if you are a light sleeper you might have a problem. The main room air conditioning is much quieter.When we arrived we found a supplemental agreement (an "acknowledgment") which they asked us to sign and fax. According to VRBO a supplemental agreement is OK, but only if presented at the time of booking, not later on. So I never signed it. There were only two of us, and we left the place just as we found it, so no issue on either side.If you have a rental car a be aware your map will probably take you to the wrong place to park. The streets in this area are one way and you can not get into the garage if you drive down Koa avenue. Instead, drive past the front of the building on Kalakaua Ave, then turn left on Lili'uokalani Ave. The entrance is right there.Once you get to the garage all is good. The staff are responsive and polite and get your car quickly when you want it. The building itself has some nice amenities such as a pool and workout room.

The view was amazing, the condo was clean and well cared for, well stocked with anything a home would have. The beach equipment could use some updating but still 2 out of 3 chairs were still usable. The price was a little high but you get what you pay for. Was a magnificent stay!

I can not say enough about our Penthouse rental at the Waikiki Beach Tower!! Let me start with how BEAUTIFUL and true to pictures the condo was so full of light and beachy feel. Then you step out on the balcony you immediately taken back by the SPECTACULAR VIEWS ALL AROUND YOU!! Not only of the ocean, the lagoon, but the sunset and rainbows OH MY GOSH!! We were located in such a great location being walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. The staff greeted us every timewe entered or exited the lobby. The valets were so quick getting our vehicles always making us feel seen. I was nervous being on the top floor having to deal with an elevator, but it was never a problem. In closing our family of 7 was so comfortable with our host thinking of everything we would need to make us fee at home. THANK YOU for making our dream vacation over the top SPECTACULAR!!

Anyone can find fault with anything but this isn’t the place. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful views of everything to the west. Honolulu, Pearl Harbor in the distance. 2/2 with a hide-a-bed, almost instant hot water. You’re in a limited space condo, on the beach so things are a little compact and sandy but that’s everywhere on the islands and beach. Patio furniture is comfortable, outdoor bar stools with a window pass through for serving. Decor is high quality and you have a full sized washer and dryer. If you have multiple things to charge at night that need to stay on the bedside tables, pack a multi plug with 6’ extension cord but like I said, small sacrifices for relaxation and beauty! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
